Jason's P.O.V.
The dog's mother was killed by a gun shot. Who could have done this? I flipped the mother dog and when I did, I saw a note.
"What's that?" Allie asked me.
"It's a note Allie." I told her. She came close to me.
"A note?! Come on!! Read it! Read it! Read it! Read it! Re--" She told me childishly while I cut what she said.
"Alright alright! Calm down for God's sake!" I told her with an angry voice. Then she stopped speaking. I open the folded paper. I read what it says slowly.
The note said:
"You can run but you can't hide!"
"The killer might have killed this dog! Wight might be getting into a trap! Be careful Allie, none of us knows what might happen next." I told her.
"Alright! Alright. But can we keep the puppy?! PLEAASEE!!" Allie told me with a very loud voice.
"No! Keep your voice down! If we have the dog. It might bark and bark and the killer might find us!" I whispered loudly to Allie.
"But where is is going to live?! It has no parents and no owner!" Allie told me.
"Ugh.. bu--" Allie cut me. "Let's just keep it!!! PLEASE?!" Allie told me loudly.
"Okay, okay! We can keep it! As long as y--" Allie cut what I was saying again.
"YAY! I'm gonna name it Cuddles!" She told me childishly.
"Cuddles again? You remember last highschool right? We saw a dog in front of school and you named it CUDDLES. Seriously? That's what you're gonna name every dog you see?!" I whispered to her loudly.
"SHUT UP! I do what I want with my new dog!" Allie shouted at me while she rubs her face to the dog. I don't know why but the puppy seems happy.
"Okay, as long as you keep your voice down!" I told her.
"Fine!" She whispered to me.
"But I'll keep the dog, okay?" She asked me.
"Sure." I answered her.
"Let's start walking." I said.
Now we have a new member of the team! Cuddles. It might also help by smelling things in where the killer is at. Cuddles might be helpful as long as it doesn't bark so loud.
"Is Cuddles a boy or a girl?" I asked. Then she looked at cuddles belly and looked under that.
"Cuddles is a boy. A cuter, cuddly baby dog." She said while she pets Cuddles's head.
"Ugh..Okay, let's continue walking." I said.
"Okay." She told me. So we walked and walked. I decided to go to where I work and tell my partner Jenny about the clues.
"Allie, can we go to where I work first? I need to tell Jenny about the clues." I told her while we were still walking.
"Who's Jenny? Your girlfriend? HAHAHAHA!" She told me in a sarcastic voice and she started laughing.
"No! She is not my girlfriend!!! She's my partner in this case! Just follow me!" I told her.
"Jason has a girlfriend! Jason has a girlfriend!"She started singing and it was really annoying.
