I know what your thinking, what happens when i go to school, well, i dont. Im homeschooled, but its summer, and my summer is almost over sadly. but thats ok, i dont have public school so im happy. i was walking down the street to go to the little store, Maverick, just minding my own business. i have my head phones plugged in, and i was listening to Ghost Town.

Shes a monster, nobody wants her, but me, so sharpen your teeth (makes it easier to bleed)

     I sang along quietly.

"Oh! S-sorry!" I squeaked out as I bumped into somebody, dropping my phone.

"Hasn't anybody ever told you not to text and walk?" The stranger said. I blushed a deep red.

"I-I wasn't texting..." I mumbled, picking up my phone." I looked at my phone, then my hands.

"Oh, I'm sorry, I meant reading." He mocked me.

"I need a sink." I said switching into panic mode.

"Whatever freak." the stranger said, walking past me, but not without bumping my shoulder as he left.

I didnt hesitate to pull out my antibacterial wipes, and scrub my hands raw, then i got my hand sanitizer and rubbed that on too. I sighed in relief, and continued into Maverick.

After i had all the things on my list i started walking home. Once i got there, i saw my mom was home... early.

"Mom? Why are you home?" I asked once i got inside.

"Uh, its my house?" I heard my mom shout from her room sarcastically.

"I have some news to share." Mom said coming out of the hallway.

"Mm." I grunted as i was putting away the Mt. Dew.

"You, ah, well... Youre going to public school." My mom said calmly. I dropped the can in my hand.

"What!? You know i cant!" I shouted.

"Watch your tone with me!" I cant have you home all the time, its not healthy ." my mom said. I blinked.

"Mom, germs arent healthy. Teenagers are full of them, let alone a dirty old highschool! im ok with not having any friends!" I shouted.

"Look, i love you, but ive had too much of you! You need to get friends, and all that. Your 17! Its one year of highschool!" she claimed. Shortly after that, she ended the conversation.
