Kadira & Kasirah [BASED ON A TRUE STORY]

DUBAI,
DECEMBER 1998.
KARIMA's BIRTH.

Khadeeja holds her new born baby in her arms and smiles and kisses her tiny forehead. She thanks God in her heart for blessing her and Abbas with a fifth daughter. She wouldn't even have thought about being a mom to five daughters, it almost felt like a dream to her.

A knock on the door startles her as she thinks it's probably Abbas with kids. Proving herself right, walks in Abbas with Kasirah in his arms and following right behind him are Kulsum, Kashaf and Kadira.

Kulsum being the eldest runs to her mom and gives her a side-hug.
"Whose she?!" Kashaf excitedly yells with Kadira nodding in curiosity.
"She's Karima, your little sister," Khadeeja smiles, answering the twins. Upon hearing this Kashaf and Kadira break out in a wide smile,
"Another sister?" Kulsum speaks disappointed, "I wanted a brother not a sister,"

Kasirah climbs up beside her mom and admires her younger sister. She finally has someone to boss around, she thinks to herself and smiles.

"Welcome to the world Karima." Abbas says as he carries Karima in his arms and kisses her tiny nose.
"I wanna hold her, abbu!" Kadira says jumping up and down in her place as she pleases her dad to let her hold Karima. Abbas instructs her to sit down first and tells her to be careful.

All this while Khadeeja prays to God to always keep her family happy and smiling.
