Arc 2 | Chapter 5 : Verge

You's POV

Its been a week since Riko left Uchiura and go to Tokyo. All of us from Uranohoshi were really sad but supported Riko's decision. Almost all of us.

"Why didn't you stop her!?" Chika glared at me.

We were on Chika's house because I wanted to tell Chika about Riko's competition. But suddenly Chika shouted me with those questions.

"Its her decision, Chika. Don't blame me" I rolled my eyes.
"She loves you, You-chan. If you told her to stay, I know she would stay!" Chika forced those words.
"EVEN I WANT RIKO TO STAY" I shouted a little bit too hard.

I saw Chika taking a step back and put a scared face. I soon realized what I just did.

"Sorry, Chika. I lost myself there for a second" I bowed my head towards her.
"No need. We're all sad here" Chika gave a small smile to me and hugged me.
"Its just, I miss Riko-chan" I couldn't hold back my tears.
"We all miss her, You-chan" Chika gave a sad smile and we finally cried together.

We stood there for a long time before finally broke the hug.
"How about staying for tonight? Its already dark" Chika asked to me.
"Sure. For now I really need some company" I giggled a bit.
"Don't worry, You-chan. I'm always here for you" Chika gave a big smile to me.
"Lets go take a bath together! Its been a while since we took one together!" She smirked at me.
"We are already old, Chika" I tried to dodge the invite.
"But still......" Chika used her puppy eyes on me.
"Its unfair to use that. You know I can't decline" I smiled at Chika.
"You finally smile" Chika said to herself.
"Eh?"
"Nothing, lets go!" She pulled me to the bathroom.

After we took a bath, we both got into the room and sleep not even bothering about dinner. I realized when I tried to sleep, Chika sneak into my bed and whispered something.
"Don't worry, Riko-chan will always love you"
Is what she whispered.

Both Chika and You got to school together on the next day. But our class is still not cheerful cause Riko's left.

"You-san, what is Riko-san doing now?" One of our classmates asked me.
"She will be going to a piano competition" I answered.
"Why is Riko still contact you but none of us?" Another classmate asked.
"I dunno" I hesitated answering.
"Like I said, Riko-chan likes You-chan. So of course they stay in contact" Chika explained.
"So why didn't You-san stop Riko from leaving"

The other classmates supported and spread a hatred for me. And only made me more sad. Chika felt bad for explaining though there is nothing she could do now.

Suddenly the teachee came to the class.

"You guys are saying Sakurauchi left because of Watanabe?" The teacher suddenly asked. None of them tried to answered though in the end everybody nodded.

"Then you guys are wrong. Even if Watanabe tried to stop Sakurauchi, she wouldn't stay here" the Teacher said.
"Do you mean Riko-chan will not be in Uchiura anymore?" Chika asked.
"I said Watanabe couldn't make her stop, bur I didn't say she could make her return" The teacher gave a big smile.
"Wait.... Sensei, you mean..."
"Go get her, Watanabe. Go to Tokyo and male her come back to us"
"Sensei....." I suddenly got teary

Suddenly everyone in the classroom shouted "Get Her Back!" And made me more determined to go to Tokyo.

"I have an announcement to make!" I shouted to the whole class.

"I Watanabe You, will take back Sakurauchi Riko to our school!"
