A Jack Grazer and Dylan Conrique Story

chapter 5

Jack's point of View

Once we finished getting ready we walked down to the ubers that we called for.

F- finn ,M-millie ,G-gaten, N-noah S- sadie ,Soph-sophia,W-wyatt, Jay-jaden,C-caleb,J-jack,Ch-chosen,Jer-jeremy

F- im so excited!
W- for the awards?
F- yeah and because we might meet dylan
Jer- what if we don't meet her?
N- we can dm her
Soph- won't she think its creepy
S- relax we have the red carpet, the show, and the after party.
M- yeah we will get our chance
G- what if she's different in real life
Ch- we will just have to wait and not assume things.
J- well we are here ready?
All- yeah

We get out of the uber and headed toward the red carpet. It was packed with fans, paparazzi, and interviewers. We got our pictures taken and did a couple interviews. After a while we finished and stood in a corner. We were looking around but there was no success. They finally let us in the arena it was pretty cool. Our seats were near each other and close to stage.

Time skip

The awards were going great so far. Stranger Things won in their category, we saw some great performances, and took some pictures with other celebrities. We still haven't seen Dylan. I think some of us kind of lost hope. Just when i thought the awards were over an announcer came up on stage.

" Hope you're enjoying the show but its not over yet. We have one final performance left making her first television debut and singing a combination of her two songs please welcome Dylan Conrique!"

Everything was quiet then a video popped up it read heartbeat.
Dancers that i recognized from the lively came up and danced to the intro then she came on wearing a black shirt with holes and camouflage pants paired with black boots. The dancers wore all black.

That's the song

She sang and danced along with the song and dancers. Everyone seemed to like the song it was catchy. Suddenly the music stopped.

"I can't continue without showing my gratitude to my best friends on this stage for all the support they have given me. Which is why the next song is very special to me here's a song i like to call "Just Us". She got in place and the music started along with a slideshow of her and her friends.

Second song

I could tell she meant every word. Everyone was up and following along with the song. In the end she and her friends hugged and confetti came out signalling the end of the show.

We got out of the stuffy arena and headed to the after part.

S- i loved her performance
M- i loved "just us"
Soph- it has such a great message
W- "heartbeat" was good too it was more of a party song while "just us" is for every mood
N- did any one else see her tear up during the second song
Jay- yes i thought i was the only one who noticed
Ch- she was probably overwhelmed this is her first big performance
C- she looked pretty professional to me
G- i want to hear more
J- do you think there's more of her songs on YouTube
F- we'll check later we still need to meet her
