Hello listener aka myself. This is Dr. Ekon Azami with another report. Today's patient is a new one for me. His name is Danny Nathan Mange. He has schizophrenia. He normally has psychosis and hallucinations from my so far knowledge. I'll be recording the conversation between me and Mr. Mange and see what I can gain from this. (Door sounds like it opens as a female nurse walks in.) Excuse me, sir? Your patient is here. Hello. Bring him in please, thank you. Yes sir. (The door closes and we hear the doctor move the voice recorder where we can't see it. The door opens again as Danny Mange walks in.) H-Hello sir... Hello Mr. Mange. Close the door, have a seat, and we'll start our session. (The slowly closes as we hear Danny's shoes clip against the floor over to the couch. Once he sits down, we can hear his shoe tapping rapidly.) Okay Mr. Mange, what seems to be the problem? (Danny looks around rapidly, obviously worried.) Um... Mr. Mange? Oh... OH! I'm sorry. I don't seem to think straight. Well, that's why we're here. Tell me what's going on. Um... i-is this being recorded? I c-can't do this. I- I need to go. (Danny gets up and tries to leave before Ekon stops him.) Sir. Sir. This is not being recorded. I mean it. Just sit down and we'll talk about all of this. (Danny heads back to his seat.) Okay. Where were we? Okay. What's going on? (Danny sighs.) Well... I've been hearing things. Voices telling me not to do things, like going to work or even leaving my house. I started seeing monsters everywhere. There has been this single one lately... (Danny stops and stares out.) Mr. Mange? Hello? Tell me more about this, "monster". Hello? (Ekon gets up and waves his hand over Danny's face.) Hello? Oh... AGH! I-I'm sorry! I'm sorry. Um... uh... what was the question? (Ekon sits back down.) The question was, how is this monster different from the others? (Danny sighs) He's not like the others. The others just walk around , act like normal people. But this one... he's different. He's not normal human size like the others. He's bigger, and scarier. He chases me. I can't make him stop. He keeps chasing me. The only way he disappears if if I scream. That's not so good for my throat. (Danny clears his throat.) Okay Mr. Mange. I understand that you suffer from delusions and paranoia from your schizophrenia. (Danny froze) W-Where did you get this information? Well I got this from your old therap- (Danny got up) Of course! I shouldn't trust shrinks. They do nothing but share the information so people can just go after you more! That's it, I'm leaving. I regret coming here. (Danny walks to the door.) Wait! Mr. Mange, we can work this out! At least let me write you a prescription! What for? So you can brainwash me? It's part of your treatment. Here. Take these and once your done with them, come back and tell me if they helped so I can help you more. Mr. Mange I care about you and your mental health and I don't want you to be overwhelmed with all of this. Here. Take them. (Danny hesitated but took them.) Thanks. I'll see you later. (Danny walks out, closing the door. The recorder turns off.)
