Don't know anymore // Harry Styles

18// flashback

     It's August 25 2013 mtv music awards and I'm nominated for best pop video-come& get it. Song of the summer for come and get it but I'm against one direction for that award. (Picture above if outfit)
     After I get past the paps I sit next to my friend Taylor Swift. Soon one direction goes on stage. "We have the honor to present the best pop video this year." They say something along those lines I was busy talking to Taylor till I realized I was nominated. They do the nominees video thingy. "And the winner for best pop video is..." harry trails off. "Noémie McCartney." Louis yells. I walk up there giving them all a hug till I get to harry I pause for a second then give him a hug and a kiss on the cheek. I turn to Louis seeing he was wearing a knowing smirk on his face. I do my speech then walk off stage with the boys Harry's hand on my lower back.
     "Harry was staring at you the whole time like entranced by you. So was Louis and Niall." Taylor says "well Harry is the one that broke up with me, me and Louis are best friends and Niall was probably daydreaming. A few awards later it is my turn to present the award. Best choreography. Once they finish the nominees video I start talking. "Not to throw shade or anything but if Bruno mars wins this award I might pass out." I say laughing everyone else laughs too. "Ok the winner of best choreography is Bruno mars with treasure." I say he walks up the stairs. Gives me a hug and spins me around kissing my cheek. "Well my life is complete I say giving him award. "Just want to start off with, this girl right here is amazing and I am a complete fan of hers just standing next to her gives me chills. Thank you for presenting this award to me." He says turning to me at the end I mouth a 'you're welcome'. He finishes his speech. We walk down the stairs halfway. We stop to take pictures he puts his hand on the small of my back like harry did. "You should give me your number maybe we could go out sometime?" He asks in my ear I nod smiling. He walks me to my seat and sits on the floor for a minute as I write my number on a napkin. "See you soon." He says kissing my cheek. I turn to Taylor but I catch the eyes of a jealous Harry. Little did he know that I didn't really want to date Bruno I just thought it would be nice to have more friends that are singers/actors really anyone nice in Hollywood. That's why u barely have any friends.
"Are you going to date Bruno?" Taylor asks "no I mean me and harry just broke up from an engament and 5 years of dating I can't move on that fast." I say as we walk around. "Hey emie." Someone yells I instantly know who it is. I turn around just in time to be lifted off my feet in a hug by Louis. "What's got you so happy?" I ask "we won an award I'm sorry we kinda beat you but you won too you should be happier." He says confused as he sets me down. "She's a little bummed out cause she thought she would want to date Bruno mars and they exchanged numbers but she doesn't want to date her. The others boys silently laugh while Louis not so silently laughs. "Thank god." I hear harry mumble I look up to him regretting instantly as we make eye contact. His eyes are darker they hold more secrets they look like they've been through it and yet still they have a sparkle and light in them. "Yes Noémie Harry's eyes are gorgeous but please pay attention to me." Louis says "uh what did I say that out loud?" I ask "uh so you were thinking about his eyes you're making this a little awkward and I wanted to know if you wanted to go out to dinner with me and the lads?" Louis says-asks "uh yeah sure. But don't you think this dress is a little much to go out to eat in?" I ask "well you look great in it but we can stop by my house and you can have like sweats and a shirt or something." Louis says I nod as they all kinda surround me as we walk to their car.
We get to Louis and Harry's house and only us three walk in the others go to the bar and we'll meet them there. "Come with me." Harry says I look over at Louis he just shrugs and motions me to follow harry. When I walk in the room harry was digging in a drawer. "I uh still have some of the clothes you used to leave here." He says awkwardly "thank you this is saving me from having me have to shut down mine and Louis dating rumors again." I say jealousy flashes to his eyes for a split second and I smirk slightly. "Uh yeah no- no problem." He says smiling. "And if it makes you feel better I still have like a couple shirts and jackets of yours at my house I just haven't gotten around to washing them and giving them back." I say "oh uh it's no problem keep them." He says we both blush. God we are acting like we did when we first started dating. I walk down the hall to change after that we head out to the bar.
After a while we all finished eating so we went to the actual bar. After a drink or two I am alone with Louis as he downs another drink. "So wanna make harry jealous?" Louis asks out of no where. "Well seeming that I'm a little buzzed I'm thinking that's a good idea and plus it was his fault." I say "ok then." He says pulling me into him as we kiss. It wasn't sloppy it was gentle and sweet. He cupped my cheek as his other hand was respectfully on my hip. I have one hand in his hair and my other one on his chest feeling his heartbeat. When we break apart. "Was that just to get harry jealous?" I ask staring him in the eyes. "I know you've only thought of me as a best friend but I've probably always wanted to kiss you." He says honestly. I look to my left and instantly Harry's eyes on us he is angry but sad. I step back from Louis and sit back down in my seat. "Right." He sighs. "Another round." I yell.
