I was watching my mom walk up to my jeep looking pissed I keep my window up I was scared shed beat me threw the window its a southern thing she gave me that look and I knew it was over I knew I would have to hand over my keys.
I hopped out my jeep with my head down
"know would you like to tell me why sweet pea?" she said with her southern voice
"uhhh I don't know to be honest momma I really don't know what came over me first I was late and then he gave me detention and this is the second time this week momma that man dosnt like me"
"sweet pea give me your keys know that's all imma do ill give them back when I fill like it and you better not get in any more trouble."
"yes ma'am" I said handing my keys over we walked inside and I went straight up to my room to do my home work I got a text from Seth asking how much trouble I was in and told him only got my keys taken. after that he was just texting about non sense and 10 oclock rolled out and he told me goodnight.
Next morning I woke up on time and I left a little earlier than what I used to because I had to walk to school. 7 oclock and I make it on time I walk in class and soon the class room started to fill up. I was wating for Seth to show up but he never did.
lunch time rolled around and I was sitting at the table when misty and mark showed up.
"hey char" they both said
"hey guys" I was warming up to mark but he better not hurt misty the only reason I'm warming up to him is because my bestfriend is dating him. I felt my phone vibrating hoping it was seth but when I looked at it, it was an unknown number saying they missed me I was looking at it and my brows scruntch in confusion.
"who is it char?" misty asked
"I don't know"
"oh come on tell us"
"I'm forreal misty I don't know who it is"
?"oh I'm sorry"
"its fine I'm sorry I just don't know whats up with me" after that my day seem to roll on by and still no sign of Seth I walked out to the parking lot after my detention was and Seth wasn't even there wither and his trucks not here either.
I don't know why I'm so intressted in him all of a sudden. I throw him to the back of my mind and make my walk home safely once on my prouch I remember no house key its on my car keys. so I call my mom and she tells me to just walk over to the hospital where she works because shes getting off late.
so I make my way down the road and I pass this ally and I hear a cat and kitten well I see the cat and I walk towards and then it starts to walk further down the ally I was calling out to the cat when I heard some people fussing so I hide behind a dumpster.
"where the fuck is my money man"
"ill give you the money when I get the girl" his voice sounded for mearly but couldn't place it
"fuck the girl know give me my damn money"
"no fuck you when charlotte is in my arms then you can have the money" it hit me like a truck it was matts voice I was backing away when I knocked down a box and the guys looked at me and started my I took off running my short legs taking me as fast as they could I could still hear them running behind me finally they where gone but I did not dare slow down tilli got to the hospital I ran in and to the front desk asking them to let my mother know I was here.
after I finally caught my breath I decied to text Seth
'hey where are you didn't see you today' an instant reply
'I didn't wanna come'
'how come?'
'because I didn't wanna see you char leave me the fuck alone' for some reason my heart stung I wanted to cry but don't know why but I'm not o forget him hours passed and my mom finally got off and we went home I went and jumped in the shower and did my home work and wen to bed.
next morning I woke up early again this shit is killing me I cant wait to get my jeep back. I jumped in the shower and put on some black high waisted shorts and a crop top with queen written in cursive and parid it with my white convers grabbed my bag and headed out today I had my house key.
I made my way out and started walking to school it was only Tuesday ughhh this week is going by soo slow. I'm ready for summer and I finally be a senior. I finally made it to school and I didn't even look for his truck if he dosnt wanna see me then I don't wanna see him I walk in and people are starring at me. I don't know why it bothers me soo much.
ignore all the stares and go to my locker as I'm getting my stuff out some one walks up to me and I see misty standing there he looks pissed.
"hey misty hows it going"
"why?" her voice was laced with sadness and it sounded like she had been crying
"missy what are you talking bout" I went to go reach for her shoulder but she moved and slapped my hand away
"don't call me missy charlotte, and you know exactly what I'm talking bout you and Seth"
"umm how do you know this and theres a whole story behind us"
"so there is something going on between yall then"
"what no that's not what I ment at all missy please listen to me" she started to walk away
"missy stop please your all I have left" she just turned around and walked off people were looking at us I grabbed my bag and walked to class trying to forget everything I walk in and remember we sit next to each other maybe shell have to listen to me then.
I sit down and misty gets up and moves well there goes that damn plan. class drags by and then lunch rolls around instead of getting lunch I go straight over to the lunch table to see misty and mark sitting there. I sit down and said hey mark is the only one that says anyting to me
"we don't talk to liers babe" that made me furry so I stood up and took off I went and sat out side under a tree waiting for lunch to be over. I lay my head back and close my eyes I didn't relize I had fallen asleep until some one was shaking me.
"what the hell man?"
"dude sorry you fell asleep" I looked up to see some stoner guy
"oh shit sorry what time is it?"
"umm its second lunch" I just sighd and layed my head back
"you look stressed"
"yep is it that noticeable?"
"yeah here this will help" he said handing me some weed haven't had non in forever
"are you forreal?"
"uh yeah?" it came out more of a question
"okay" so I grabe it and take a puff after that we hang out and talk and finish it I found out that his name is Ronnie and he's a senior. after that schools over and I walk home.
