Y/ns eyes fluttered open. The morning sun shone through the window, blinding her as she struggled to adjust to its brightness. Automatically Austin's hand tightened around her waist.
Y/n turned to look at the blonde boy, his eyes were shut but there was a small smile on his lips.
"Stay... " his voice was a hoarsed whisper.
"I'm not going anywhere" his smile widened.
The two lay in each others embrace, enjoying the silence of their company in the warm morning sun of July. Y/n glanced across the room to the digital watch that sat on a table beside the window. It was already 8 o'clock, which meant that she had to leave in the next hour. She frowned. This was supposed to be for one night and then she needed to leave, her family would be wondering where the hell she went.
"Can you stay the night... Again?" Austin questioned, burying his face in the crook of her neck.
Y/n sighed "I'd love to but-"
"But they'll be wondering where you disappeared off to and might get suspicious I know" he completed for her.
They remained silent. Both thinking the same thing.
It sucked that their families hated each other and the two had to keep their relationship a secret.
Austin's family was one of the richest families in their small town in North Carolina. (I don't know if there are small towns there, I'm not American) They hated y/ns family simply because her family was also one other of the richest family and the competition between both their fathers companies was... Well very intense.
"I... I'm sorry it has to be like this"
Austin sighed. Y/n grinned, she turned to wrap her arms around him.
"There's nothing to be sorry about, I'm happy with you and that's all that matters."
Austin smiled before sealing their lips together.
"Things'll turn up, trust me" he said as they pulled away.
"I trust you".

Austin shoved his hands into the pockets of his hood as he walked down the almost empty street, contemplating. A lot had changed since y/n came into his life. Well she was always there, it took so much of him to realize that he was falling for her. Everything about her made him happy. Just being with her always brightened his while week, month even!! He was completely different whenever he was around her. A different kind of him that he never knew existed. A kind of him that he liked. A kind he wanted to see more of, and that was only possible when she was around. No doubt he was whipped. Everyday he found himself falling for her again and again and again and...
He wanted more, and it was dangerous. What with their families hatred for each other, his reputation and hers, too. It was all a safety hazard but the funny thing was... He didn't give a damn about any of that.
"Screw all that shit" he chuckled at his own comment and proceeded to casually walk, now that it's changed, up the street.

Tonight was important. Important for her father and his business. Y/n wore a knee-length black dress, her hair rested neatly on her shoulder. She stood beside her mother who stood beside y/ns father. Her father talked with a few of his colleagues and her mother held her father's arm firmly, smiling and laughing every now and then when she needed to.
Y/n averted her eyes across the room, searching every face until her eyes rested on a pair of warm ones.
Austin!
They smiled at each other instantly. He mouthed a hi and she responded with a soft nod of her head.
There he stood in his black suit and tie looking ravishing as always, his blonde hair lay neatly around his head.
Y/n breathed a sigh. There he was, so close and still so far away. She wanted more than anything to run into his welcoming arms and plant kisses all over his face. Alas, that was impossible.
Austin bit his lip. She was stunning, absolutely stunning! He couldn't take his eyes off of her, he was captivated by her. Lost in the very sight of her. He pinched himself. Pretty damn hard.
"Ouch!! Alright I'm not dreaming"
His father began to pull him away from his rooted position. He panicked, afraid he might lose her. He looked back over his shoulder, she smiled as he was being taken from his position.
Yep, he's whipped asf!! And to think it started with only having to be for one night. One night turned to two to three to many, and every night they spent together, he fell for her. Every single night. Every single day. He just couldn't help it.
Y/n watched as Mr. Porter took his son out of her sight. She smiled as he looked back over to her. Damn, she was so in love.
So so in love.
"Y/n,what are you smiling at?"
Her mother's voice echoed in her head
"Nothing mum, I was just thinking of something funny that happened in school today"
Her mother nodded with a smile.
"Mum, dad, can I go for a walk?"
Mrs.Y/l/n looked at her husband, who nodded. Y/n smiled, gave her thank you with a respectful nod before walking off happily.
She wondered out the house and into the back garden. The night breeze whipped her hair and the moon shone majestically. Y/n took small steps, admiring the sleeping flowers and shadows of night creatures.
"Took you long enough"
She didn't have to look to know the owner of the voice. She turned with a smile
"Can't trust my sense of direction"
Austin smiled, pushing himself off of the cemented wall of flowers he was leaning on and walked towards y/n. He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his forehead on hers. "You look beautiful"
"And you, handsome"
The distant music chimed with the hooting of the night owl as the two took slow steps of what soon turned into a slow waltz.
"y/n..."
"Yes Austin"
"I love you"
"I love you, too"
In the distant the Porters were unaware as they made their way towards the cemented wall. Austin gasped before pulling y/n away from the wall
"What is it!!?"
"My parents are coming this way, let's get out of here"
They went through the rose gardens and round the back of the house, laughing and smiling at each other.
"This is dangerous, hiding from them like this" y/n stated as she placed a kiss on Austin's lips.
"If it kills me to be with you, then I think it's totally worth the risk"
He pulled her in for a long, passionate kiss.
