My Little Cats Don't Dance

Chapter 1

Once a upon a time in the land of Equestria, there was a pony princess named Cozy Glow, and a pony peasant named Dusk Shine. She lived atop a hill in a glittering castle. There she had a servant named Lord Tirek who kept her castle in order, selected and fixed up her hat for the day, prepared her royal breakfast, and served it to her in her chambers. She had fame, she had fortune, she had product endorsements. But, she was not what she seemed. On the other hoof, in a humble village called Ponyville far away, Dusk Shine had none of her luxuries, but he had a dream. And soon, with a fond farewell from his closest friends, and gifts of good luck, best wishes, and useless junk, his world was about to clash with hers in a place called Applewood. Once he had received his gifts from his closest friends, he boarded the carriage bus, and the sign ontop of it switched from Ponyville to Applewood. He looked out the window to see his friends waving goodbye to him while some of them were holding signs that said 'Goodbye!' and 'Good Luck', and he waved goodbye back as the carriage bus took off.

As the carriage bus drove far from Ponyville, Dusk Shine poked his head out the window, and waved goodbye one last time before looking ahead while smiling. The reason why he was going to Applewood was because he wanted to fullfill his live long dream of becoming a famous movie star he had since he was a little foal. A few moments later, he looked out the window to see that he had arrived in Applewood as he looked at the large sign on a huge hill. Near a carriage bus stop, a little pegasai foal named Scooteroll was driving around in a little bicycle with a trunk filled with ice cubes in it while humming a tune. He moved the loading kart a bit as he said "Whee!" The carrige bus stopped at the carriage bus stop, and Dusk Shine got off. He waved goodbye to the carriage bus as it took off. He then looked behind him to see the Applewood theater as the sun rose into the sky, and he said "Well, here I am! I got on the carriage bus, and came to the town where dreams come true! Whoohoo!"

As Scooteroll struggled to get a huge block of ice onto the loading kart, Dusk Shine went up to him, and said "Hey, little guy! Need any help?" "I-I guess so!" Scooteroll said as he almost slipped, and fell, but Dusk Shine caught him with his magic, and he loaded the block of ice onto the loading kart. "Thanks." Scooteroll said. "Anyway, are you here to become a movie star?" "Yep!" Dusk Shine said. "And it's gonna happen for me! It could happen for you, too!" "Who, me?" Scooteroll asked. "Yeah, you!" Dusk Shine said."The most impossible dream can come true if you believe in it, and in yourself!" "Wow!" Scooteroll said smiling. Just then, a taxi carriage pulled up nearby as Dusk Shine said "Oh, that's my ride! So long!" "So long!" Scooteroll said. Dusk Shine then got into the taxi carriage, and as it started to pull away, a unicorn who is a female version of himself named Twilight Sparkle was running to catch it as she said "Taxi!" But, it was too late. It had already took off to its destination as she growled in anger and irritation.
