Chapter 28 Magical Moments!

Sean gives me a drive home...

"Sean,do ya want to say something?You've been acting weird last week.." I finally tell Sean as he drives....I'm certain that he wants to say or ask something very badly..He just isn't asking it.

"Am I the one acting weird?Seriously Blaire? Look at yourself..You don't have time for me..us..You spend most of your time with that guy.." His voice is a bit loud...I know he's right..but I won't accept it.

"Uhm..I..had a assignment to complete...Besides,he lives in my neighbourhood..So it's very obvious that I spent a lot of time with him.." Not a good excuse.

"So don't ya think you should give me some time in college? That guy is always glued to you.." Sean calms a little.

"I'll..and I do..you're the one who's nowhere to be seen during breaks..."

"I was sitting on the table beside yours..You didn't notice me.." He sighs sadly..

"Uhm...am I supposed to say sorry?"

"No..but you gotta go with me to a date..tonight.." Sean smirks.

Date with your friend's crush?No way!

"Can Laura come as well?" I immediately ask him.

"Laura? It's a date Blaire..." He reminds me.

"Uhm.." I don't wanna upset him by saying no.

"Are you thinking about a double date?" Sean questions.

"Yep" I lie..Who'll be Laura's date then?

"If that's what you want,then of course Zayn and Laura can come.." A hint of disappointment evident in his voice.

"Zayn?where did he come from?"

"Zayn will be Laura's date,right?" He furrows his eyebrows.

I somehow stop myself from laughing..and just nod.

"I'll pick you at 7,okay?" He asks when he stops the car infront of my house..

"Okay..Thanks!" I get out of the car..

As I take my keys someone taps my shoulder lightly.

I scream in astonishment..

"Shh..It's me.." Zayn puts his hand over my mouth and pushes me to the door..

"You..You nearly killed me.." I catch my breathe..

"Why?You expect a killer to murder you in daylight.." He laughs..

"Very funny..." I push him away and open the door..

"I wasn't expecting to see you.." I tell him as we enter the house..

"Whom were you expecting to see Ms Avalon?" Zayn mimics Mr Rivera's deep voice.

"I was expecting to see a cat's family.." I copy a child's accent.

Zayn sits on the couch and bursts into laughter.

"Seriously..that was an awful excuse.." I throw an apple to him and join him in the couch as I take a bite of my apple..

"I know right?" He smiles..

"I'm glad you came..I was about to call you.." I tell him..

"Ahaa....You were missing me...I know it's really hard to stay away from a hot as me," Zayn impishly grins.

"You wish," I roll my eyes.

"I'm sexy and I know it...Don't lie Blaire.." Playful Zayn is my favourite.

"Whatever...Now let's get to the point..what happened last night?" I finally ask him..

"You don't remember?" He gasps.

"No..What happened?" I beginning to panic..

He lets out a deep gasp and walks away..

"Tell me what happened!" I raise my voice..

"We..we.." I stammers

"We what?" It comes out as a whisper..

"We danced all night to the best song ever..We knew every line and now I can't remember..." He starts singing..

Argh..He was joking..I was so tensed..I thought..we..Whatever!

I throw my apple at him..

"You..motherfucker!" I scream and start throwing stuffs at him..

"Ouch..Blaire stop it.." He laughs and dodges the things..

"You know how scared I was for a minute.." I throw a pillow at him and he catches it..

I turn around to see if there's anything else I can throw at him..

He grabs both my hands in his large palms and pins me against the wall..

I get all spellbound..His face is inches away..

"Wha..What" I whisper..

"Shh.." I can feel his hot,spearmint breathe..My body fills with warmth..

"Let me memorise all the beautiful patterns of your face.." Zayn whispers..and leans closer..

He gently caresses my hair away from my cheeks..

His caress brings an involuntary shiver up my spine.

My heart is slamming against my chest.

I stare at his alcoholic hazel eyes...And he leans closer and this time,our lips touch..We are kissing.

I let him kiss me..His soft lips are glued to mine..My breathing is no longer steady..

"Sorry..Wrong timing.." I hear someone say..and we quickly break the kiss.

It's none other than,Laura..She really had to come now to destroy the most wonderful moment of my life.

"Uhm really sorry..." She says to both of us..and then turns to me.."The door was opened so I just..whatever..Blaire you left your notebook at school.." She puts it on the table and rushes out..

I look at Zayn..His face is a light shade of red..

Oh my god! This is going to be awkward..

"What was it Zayn?" I stupidly ask him and sit on the end of the couch..

"I'm..I'm sorry Blaire..I just couldn't control myself.." He looks at me.

"Do you like me?" I ask him..Aware of the answer..

He smiles and nods.."I do.."

We really are having this conversation in this kinda situation..

"Me too.." I smile..And the award for the worst reply goes to me.
I can't helps but stare at his sparkling orbs.

"Will you be my girlfriend?" He sits on his knees infront of me..and takes my hand in his..

This is strange..and magical.

"Yes.." I nod..The smile on my face is never going to fade..

He takes a ring out of his pocket and puts it in my ring finger.

"What the hell! All this was planned?" I sternly ask him.

"No..No.." He stands up.." I had this ring with me from the day I saw you..I wanted to ask you out but I was scared.." He rubs the back of his neck.

" Really? I thought you hated me.." I blurt.

"Hated you?never in my wildest dreams..." He smiles..and winks.
