The Wendigo's sister creature [Until Dawn inspired]

The Chase is On

We hear the doors go Bang! Bang! Now, the first thing that comes to my mind is that its probably Mike, Ashley or anyone else nevertheless my mind fails me again, I don't want to but I have to check it out, as I walk closer to the pounding, wooden door adrenaline rushes as I take each step, Jess calls "Sam! Be careful" "I will, I will" I said and to think they were my friends just hiding and waiting for me to be brave just like last year. I take a look through the peep hole and I gasp "What is it?" said Jess in curiosity "Something you wouldn't like to see" I say while stepping back and looking for ways to exit around our crowded room. What was that thing? I think to myself, tall, spikey horns on head, canine like teeth? Have I come to know what the wendigo's 'sister' creature looks like? "what is going on in here?" says Chris anxiously "I think we have witnessed what we just talked about earlier" I said "Oh no" said Jess in clear worry. As I look out the window I see hundreds or even more thousands of these alien like creatures destroying homes, tearing apart families (and I mean literally), "time to go" I said "what?" said Chris "she said it's time to go!" yelled Jess in anger already grabbing things for the road, luckily we were the only ones in the market. The workers were on break.

We pack our bags, get our first aid kits and most importantly weapons, I see a bunch of candles and matches these might come in handy I think to myself, probably because the wendigo's weakness was fire I quote someone wrote in a book that "the wendigo's skin is like armour the critical material is in the inside but that doesn't mean the outside can't be dented" " we better hurry" shouted Chris, I look outside and realise all the creatures are coming from the west, that is where Blackwood Pines is located! Well, we all have our gear ready and the day is getting old, more destruction is occurring as we speak, suddenly I remember oh crap! We need to warn the others! "Jess! Chris!" I yell while we are running away from destruction "What!" yells Chris back "We need to warn our friends!" I yell more anxiously "That's what I was thinking!" said Chris. I grab out my phone and realise it has 3% left so I better make this quick I dial Ashley first "Sam!" Ashley yells "Ashley no time to speak-" I said, then being cut off by her "I know all about it, infact they are surrounding by house" she said without worry "Then get out of there-" "Oh my god now they are surrounding me, Chris!" said Ashley in worry "What is Chris doing there!" I said in worry "Only what I have to" said Chris in bravery. A few minutes of running later Ashley and Chris catch up to us and I hug them as tight as I can "alright we don't have much time" I said sternly "What about Mike?" said Ashley in curiosity "We're over here!" yells Mike from a distance with Jess "I got him, now we have to find another route to Blackwood Pines mountains" Jess said quickly "I'm proud of you" I said in gratitude.

I pull out a map and realise we can go around the mountains to go to Blackwood Pines it only added 10 minutes and we wouldn't have to climb like Mike suggested. "That's a great idea" says Ashley while pointing at the map following my directions on it. The creatures get closer and I'm shaking and laced with sweat but I stay still for longer and the creature wonders off like nothing happened. It turns around to see my friends standing in front of me and they do the same thing "Don't move a single muscle" said Mike stiffly without moving his mouth. I'm wondering if this creature is literally the "sister" creature, the wendigo did not notice anything if we weren't moving, that's a new theory to put to mind. The sister creature takes a long, hard, stealthy and efficient look at us once more and wonders off like nothing happened. Then we make a run for it, luckily the creatures aren't roaming about as much as I thought they would, but as soon as we think we are lucky I hear a shrieking scream come from the mountains and I could only imagine what that is. "Run!" Chris yelled, "I'm trying!" yelled Jess in agony. I feel like the creature is growing closer and closer to us, like it's breathing on my neck ready to pounce.
