-Lillian-

"Uh, we have a problem." Brandon said.

Oh gosh, please don't tell me he started cooking again.

"You didn't start cooking again right? Remember last time?" I sighed as I made my way out of the office.

"Hey, that was only once. And who knew the lobster was still alive? It's not my fault he accidentally tipped over the sauce pan onto the-- , anyways, that's not the problem."

"Okay. What?"

"Niall called looking for you."

With those 5 words, my heart beat 10 times faster.

Brandon continued.

"And uhh, his new car got stolen."

What!? I could just imagine Niall's miserable face right now. He just seemed so excited to get one.

-Niall-

I lost it.

In only a matter of days, my baby was gone.

I woke up one morning, expecting to see my beautiful ray of sunshine, but it was just, ugh, gone from the hotel garage.

"Have you tried, asking the front desk if they have security cameras?" Liam asked.

"Obviously. My car was parked in the farthest corner. They didn't get anyone on camera. Just someone pick locking the lock on the door handle, and speeding off at 4:00 am." I sighed, rubbing my hands over my face.

"It's alright Niall, we'll figure something out." he patted my shoulder and went back to eating his cereal.

I hear my cellphone ringing from the counter. I turn around and the caller ID is Lillian.

"Oh my gosh Lillian, come quick!" I breathed into the phone devastated.

With that she hung up the phone and I knew she was on her way.

She arrived in 15 minutes, faster than what I had expected, and I hugged her almost immediately.

I knew she was a bit hesitant at first, not used to the friendly gesture from me, but she hugged me back even tighter.

"I'm sorry about the car Niall, I hope we do find it." she reassuringly squeezed my shoulder once we let go.

"I hope so too. I was just too excited to get it that I wasn't so cautious!"

Louis walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"Still upset about his car?" He snickered.

Lillian looked past me and nodded her head.

"So, haven't called the police station?" she questioned when she looked back at me.

Damn it. The police station! How could I have been so stupid? I never even called them yet.

"You're a genius Lily!" I shook her shoulders as I noticed she was blushing when I called her by her nickname, or that I called her a genius. Whichever one, it was cute.

I ran to my phone and called 911.

"911 qu'est ce que c'est la émergence?" (911 what's the emergency?) The operator asked in french.

"Uhh" I instantly handed the phone to

Lillian as she knew what to do.

"Notre auto était volée hier soir." (Our vehicle was stolen last night)

Hey, she can speak French! I think she's fluent.

They talked for about a good 5 minutes before Lillian hung up.

"I gave them all the information. The license plate, the type of car, and car information. They'll call if they find it." She notified me.

I breathed a sigh of relief. I just prayed we'd find this car soon.

I know that it's sounds dumb to pray over a punch buggy, but this car is one of my life goals. I love it so much. Even more than food if that's even possible.

About 4 coffee's, 1 nap, and 2 meals later, it was 7:25 pm and they cops called my number.

"Yes hello? Did you find anything?" I asked frantically but stopped when I remembered the lady spoke French.

I once again handed the phone to a tired Lillian and she had a brief conversation with the lady once again.

"They said they can't do much about the situation. Since it was more of a private car deal, they can't find it's license or it's papers." She said cautiously to make sure I understood fully. I huffed and ran my hands through my hair. "But, the lady did say she might've seen a glimpse of a red punch buggy in the parking lot of some hotel on her way out for lunch, somewhere across the city." My anxious mood changed to relief and joy.

"Well, looks like we've got to take matters into our own hands. What should we do?" Liam piped in from behind her. She continued, "I say let's go get you car back!"

"Okay, let me just grab my wallet and we can.." I felt for my wallet in my jacket pockets but there was nothing there. "I left it in the car!"

Lillian shook her head and chuckled, "I say let's go get your car and wallet back!"
