-Lillian-

I was extremely eager to go on a mini roadtrip to get Niall's car back. It shouldn't take too long. All we have to do is drive across the city, get the car back, and everyone will be happy! Piece 'o' cake.

It was only me, Liam and Niall going, since it wasn't too far. We took Brandon's van and had a GPS to guide us to the specific hotel.

At this point, it was around 10 pm, so we knew the hotel wouldn't be happy to invite people in at such a late hour, but with this information, we were bound to get in.

"Guys, I think I know how to get there without a navigator. I know Paris too well. I was literally born on this street." I chuckled.

"Oh please, that's not even accurate." Liam rolled his eyes.

"Yes. Actually right in that apartment building," I pointed to a large building we were just passing, "but then we moved about a week later."

"Cool. Anyways, go down Queen street and make a left at the lights." Niall said, being the backseat driver.

We drove for about another 30 minutes until we arrived at the hotel.

I immediately unbuckled my seat and ran straight to the hotel doors. They were locked but I tapped on the glass, then knocked, then almost broke it with my fist because the guy at the counter was taking a nap.

"OPEN THE DOOR! ITS AN EMERGENCY!" Niall cried.

The fat man opened his eyes and sat up straight, dropping the piece of pizza that was sat on his beer gut.

We waited patiently as he gently opened the glass doors.

He spoke in French and we had a short conversation, me explaining what was happening.

The man motioned us inside and we gave him the information needed.

"He's about wee tall."

"Good at pick-locking doors"

"But he took the name of Niall Horan."

All three of us said simultaneously as large man looked in confusion.

I told him about the stolen identity and police's permission.

The man who's name was Damien, seen from his name tag, snapped his fingers and a large grin on his face appeared, as if something triggered in his mind and he finally understands the situation.

"Key.''

Damien said, handing me a card.

I turned to Liam and Niall and showed them the card, signifying that we had access into the mans hotel room.

"Go go go!" I pushed them down the hall and into the elevator. Reading the card, the thief was on level 2, room 420.

"Heheh." I chuckled to myself.

"What?" Liam asked, breaking the silence of the awkward elevator music.

"Nothin, it's just that this guy is in room 420." I laughed, looking over at Liam and Niall who hadn't budged.

"uhh," the both looked at me dumbfounded.

"420? You know. It's like, on April 20th?"

They just continued to stare.

"Are you familiar with Snoop Dogg?"

"You think this is a joke, Lillian?" Niall stared with harsh eyes.

I stifled a laugh and shook my head, exiting the elevator once the doors opened.

"424, 422, There! 420!" I slid the key in its slot and opened up the door quietly, then bam, opened shoved past it, like some kind of F.B.I. agent.

I check in the bathroom.

"Clear."

"Stop messing around, check the bed." Niall whispered.

Liam walked over to the king sized bed and patted the sheets.

"He's not in there." Liam looked up.

In the distance, we heard a car swerving, and then speeding onto the highway.

"He went out the window. How did he know we were here?" I rolled my eyes.

"Well," Liam started, looking out the window, "He's got a pretty good view of the main entrance. Plus, we were loud."

I followed Niall back out of the hotel, tossing the key onto the fat belly, who had fallen asleep again.

"Quick! Follow him!" Niall shoved me into the driver seat.

Ugh, what did I get myself into?

I sped down the highway, not wanting to go too fast, trying to avoid a crash.

"Seat belts." I said, as I stepped on the gas harder to follow this maniac. I distantly saw his back lights, getting smaller and smaller with the second.

"We're gonna loose him!" Liam shouts, this time being the back seat driver. We came into a busy intersection. The man had passed a red light. I tried to make it in time but the other set of cars already started driving in front of me.

"Damn it!" Niall yelled, hitting the dashboard.

"Hey buddy, watch the car." I put up my hand to make him stop.

All three of us just sat there, waiting for the light to turn green and the other lanes to clear up.

"So what now?" Liam sighed.

No answer.

"Niall?" He nudged Niall on his shoulder.

Niall sighed and then grumbled something under his breath.

"Hmm?"

"I said we follow him." Niall repeated, sternly.
