A contd of the engagement chapter.. Part 2.
As Aditi came outside followed by the others, zain was busy talking to someone over phone..His back was towards aditi.. As soon as he turned,, he froze on his spot..He completely forgot his surrounding and kept staring at the 'beauty' standing before him. Aditi was wearing a pale pink lehenga in silk and tulle with crystal details.Her look was accessorised with a stunning necklace and earring set.She had put on a minimal makeup and the thing that completed her look was her evercharming smile which could even melt a rock.
Zain's Pov:
How can someone be so perfect? She indeed will be the death of me some day.When I saw her for the first time in mahesh sir's office, I wondered how would i manage to work with her.. She is so different from my other costars and other female friends..As days passed i got to know her better.She was a mystery within herself and my challenge was to crack it by fixing the puzzle...I fell for her a long back but for the sake of my happiness i never wanted to destroy our friendshp..She had a breakup which broke her into pieces..I could read her sorrow that she was trying to hide from the world.. Time flew and with each passing day we became friends- our professional relationship turned into a friendly relationship.I began enjoying her company and was happy to see that she has set the real aditi  free from the cage..I fell for her once again and thought to express my feelings.. I was nervous thinking about the consequences- what if she rejected my proposal? But I was determined that i will never pressurise her to accept the proposal much against her wish.. Finally came the day.I took her to the location and without wasting much time expressed my feelings.. I was ready for the reply which was supposed to be negative but much to my surprise it was a yes nd when she hugged me tightly i couldn't believe it...From that day onwards, i invented a new aditi everyday-Whenever i feel that this is the ultimatum, she always proves me wrong by coming up with something surprising and that makes me love her even more..
End of zain's pov
Zain was busy admiring her absolutely ignoring the surroundings.But his reverie was broken by zain's bhabi who patted his shoulder "devar ji..Control.. ap bad ghur lena adi ko..waise woh apka hi toh hai.Phil hal kya hum engagement ke liye chale.. Der ho raha hain" (stare at her later on..by the way she is all yours but presently lets complete the engagement ceremony.Otherwise we may get late..)
Aditi 's cheeks turned red and she smiled shyly..
Z:" na..nahi bhabi esa kuch bhi nahi hai...Ha chalo chalte hain.Der ho raha hain..( no..no bhabi there is nothing like that..lets go we are getting late.). Zain made an attempt to manage the situation but everyone ended up laughing seeing his impatience..
Everyone left for the venue where the engagement ceremony was supposed to be held.As they reached the location, zain offered his hand and help aditi come out of the car..Aditi was spellbound to see the decoration.Zain came near her and stood beside her..
Z:" to be wifey kya apko decoration pasand ayi? Kya apka hone wala pati apko khush kar paye?"(to be wifey do  you like the decoration? Did your husband manage to make you happy?) he winked..
A: "yes,to be mrs imam ko bohot pasand aya yeh decorations.." (yes to be mrs imam is madly in love with the decorations)
Apu: " ap dono yahi pai khare rahoge?.bad mai karlena romance phil hal andar chalo."( did you guyz plan to stand here the entire day?Afterwards you can do romance but now lets go inside.).
Aditi gave her a death glare which indicated that she will take the revenge later on.. Then zain took her hand and walked inside the venue..
Poonam, sanjay, abhilash, abhisekh, gulzie, yusuf, zaan, nupur -their entire clan was waiting for them...
P: " adi.. Look at you..Kya lag rahi ho?? Bilkul pataka."
S: "adiiii..i must say today zain is gonna have a tough time..I would like to wish him a luck..But on a serious note i m very happy for you both..stay blessed and keep smiling."
G:" Adi kitni khubsurat lag rahi ho.Mashallah..kisiki nazar na lage. Aur zain mera chota bhai..Tum toh meri jigar ka tudka ho..Always stay happy and take care of each other.."
Y: "Mere anmol ratans hamesha khush raho." (my anmol ratans always stay happy)
Abhilash:" bhai aj sachhi bhabi tujhe piche chod diya..aj toh bhabi ji chai hui hai charo aur.kya bolta hain kapur?"
Abhisekh:" ekdum sahi bola yaar..U got a tough competion bro..Bhabiji is slaying today."
Zain looked at adi who was smiling shyly" so toh hai..After all wifey kiski hai".
Aditi's mom called them for the ring exchange ceremony..Zain and aditi went towards the stage hand in hand..
What happened afterthat was nothing less than a fairy tale story-something aditi always dreamt of.
Zain went down on his own knee" Aditi the day i will get down on my knees like this for another girl will be the day i will tie the shoelaces of our daughter..Will you marry me aditi? Will you allow me to become the reason of all your happiness and a medicine to all your sorrows?"
Aditi felt her heartbeat skipped.This was the best moment of her life.She didn't expect this at all and she didn't know how to react and respond to it..Her face was filled with utmost joy and happiness..
Aditi too dropped down on her knees and hugged him tightly with a broad smile..She wishpered in his ears"yes zain... A big yes."
Zain helped her to get up and they both slipped the ring in each other's finger..Everyone present there clapped in unison and remained witness to a unique engagement ceremony..
Finally zain and aditi's relationship got a new identity..- Un dono ke rishtey  ka namkaran ho gaya..
