Perry Poetry
I woke up with a big smile on my face. The smell of bacon and fried rice made me get up unconsciously. I hurriedly go to the bathroom and do my morning rituals.
As I turn the knob of my bedroom, I can see my handsome boyfriend busy in the kitchen, cooking something. Nakatalikod sya sa akin so I slowly walked towards him and hugged him from behind. I even buried my face on his back and smell his scent. "Good morning Baby." I heard him say and held my hands.
"Good morning." I said eyes closed and still hugging him tightly.
"Babe, have a seat first. Malapit na ko matapos dito then we will eat na." I lazily walked to the dining table and sit quietly.
After few minutes of waiting, he served our breakfast, bacon, hotdog, fried rice and heart shaped pancakes. Ang effort naman ng boyfriend ko. Pinagtimpla nya din ako ng coffee. "Thank you Babe." I whispered and he just smiled at me. He said a little prayer before we started eating our meal.
"Baby thank you for letting me stay last night. My day ended perfectly." He said smiling sweetly. "Anong sabi nila Tita, Tito at Kuya about me?" I laughed a little. Until now hindi pa din pala nakakagetover sa meet the family thing.
"They are happy for me, sa ating dalawa. At wag lalaki ang ulo mo ah, gusto ka nila for me." Nakita ko kung paano sumaya ang mukha nya.
"Nadaan ko din siguro sila sa charm ko." Sabi nya sabay hawak sa chin nya na para bang nagpapapogi.
"Kapal mo." Sabi ko sabay subo sakanya ng hotdog. "Eat Babe. For sure, gutom lang yan."
Honestly, I was too nervous last night. That was my first time to introduce someone special to my family, mostly suitors lang. And it always turned out for a rejection, but then wala naman talaga akong nagugustuhan sakanila. I mean I just gave them a chance and let my family know that someone was pursuing me. I was scared Dad and Mom might get mad, kasi hindi na kami dumaan sa courting stage, boyfriend agad.
But maybe, Thirdy has this charm, that even my parents had been captivated. And I really can't contain my feelings right now. Dad and Mom's blessings were one of the most important thing in our relationship. I am forever grateful for having them in my life - the ever supportive and loving parents. And I was hoping and praying, na sana magustuhan din ako ng parents ni Thirdy.
After we ate our breakfast, I offered to wash the dishes but he refused to. "Ako na Baby. Sige na, go to shower na. Baka malate ka pa sa mga apppointment mo today."
"Ayaw. Pwede bang dito na lang tayo? Tinatamad ako pumasok sa work." I said in my most pabebe way. I missed him so much, I just want to cuddle with him all day.
He quickly envelope me for a hug. "Babe. Alam mong hindi pwede. You have responsibility to your company diba? Baka magalit sa atin sila Tito at Tita, sabihin nila naging tayo lang, naging irresponsible ka na. Gusto mo pumangit ang tingin nila saken? At isipin nila na bad influence ako sayo. Tapos paghiwalayin nila tayo?" He said on his very malambing voice. I just shook my head and hugged him tightly. "Bawi na lang ako sa weekend, Baby. Promise yan." He added and kissed my temple.
"Oh sige na nga po. Eto na kikilos na ko." And I hurriedly go inside the shower room.
