Mikasa and Sasha wandered through the woods at night. The full moon illuminated the undergrowth enough for them to see by. They had been walking for over an hour, mixing playful flirting with light conversation the whole time.
Sasha hung back a little to watch Mikasa pick her way through the trees. She admired Mikasa's body, from her strong shoulders and arms to her nice, shapely-
"What are you looking at?" Mikasa asked accusingly. She had turned to see Sasha's wandering eyes, and was now glaring at her.
Sasha flushed with embarrassment, "I, I was just- I didn't mean to look!"
Mikasa rolled her eyes before turning back to the trail, but Sasha thought she saw a flicker of a smile on her lips.
"Where are we going anyway? It's too humid to be doing any walking," Sasha complained. She could at least give me a hint.
"We'll be there soon, be patient."
Mikasa had kept their destination a secret, much to Sasha's dismay. "What's the point of this?"
Mikasa turned to face her. "Hey." She pulled Sasha in for a kiss. "Trust me on this one."
Sasha blushed. They'd kissed before, that wasn't new, but there was something in Mikasa's tone that made her heart race.
"It should be just through here..." Mikasa pushed her way through some branches, then turned to grab Sasha by the hand and pull her through. "Ow!" Sasha's hand flew to where a branch had cut her cheek. "Mikasa, that- Oh wow..."
Sasha was stunned by the beauty she saw before her. Mikasa had led her to a hidden grove in the woods. The wide open space was surrounded on all sides by trees, and the field itself was almost completely covered in white lilies that glowed in the moonlight. "Mikasa... This is... "
"This is my secret place. Well, our secret place."

The two girls laid in the grass, surrounded by flowers and each other. They were on their backs, hands entwined, pointing out stars to each other. "Look, Mikasa, that one's the North Star. They say that it always is to the North, so you can use it like a compass."
Mikasa was quiet for a moment. she raised her arm and pointed out one star that was separate from the others. "Do you know what star that is?"
"Hmm, no I don't."
"I once read that that one's the Lover's Star."
Sasha rolled into her shoulder to look at her. "Oh yeah?"
Mikasa mirrored her movement, so that they were facing each other. "Yeah."
Sasha's heart fluttered as she scooted closer to Mikasa. They kissed, once. Twice. Again and again. Each kiss was more passionate and brought them even closer than the one before. Sasha let out a small cry when Mikasa suddenly rolled over on top of her.
Sasha looked up at the girl she loved, at her skin that was slightly damp from the humidity and their time walking, at her eyes that held infinite secrets, at her body silhouetted in the moon behind her.
Mikasa peeled away her own jacket, then tugged at Sasha's. Sasha nodded, then leaned forward to allow Mikasa to slide her sleeves off. When did Mikasa get so brave?
"Is this okay?" Mikasa looked worried, like she thought she'd gone too far. Sasha hung her arms around the back of Mikasa's neck.
"Of course it's okay... this is what lovers do."
