we were out and about, having a wonderful time, when we saw him.
he was with a new girl. from my point of view, probably his fourth one.
i took a quick glance at umji, making sure she's fine but surprisingly, umji was smiling.
before i could ask, she whispered in my ear. "i feel bad for her. she's going to get dumped, knowing him."
i return her smile. "that's my girl."
this was one of the first many smiles i got to experience that week.
