Later that night, the citizens of the Candy Kingdom were dancing their buns off in the ballroom. There was a disco ball, and glow sticks, and a mathematical DJ! Finn and Jake were dancing with princess bubblegum and cinnamon bun in one area of the ballroom. Finn was feeling uncomfortable around PB, so he decided to take a punch break. To prevent from being noticed, he danced all the way to the punch table. Once the coast was clear, he sighed and picked up a punch glass off of the table. He was about to take a sip when Marceline flew overhead and took it from his hands. Finn blushed. Marceline looked stunning. She wasn't wearing anything major, but something about Marceline always made Finn blush like a tomato. Marceline noticed him staring and sunk her fangs into the glass, sucking out all the color from the punch turning it into water.
"Hey Finn."
"Um, hey Marceline." Finn was still blushing.
"Some party, huh? Bonnie really went all out on this one."
"Uh, she sure did." Finn looked down at his shoes. Marceline grabbed his arm unexpectedly.
"C'mon. Why don't we go out to the balcony for a bit? You know, take a break from the party scene."
Finn blushed again. "Uh, sure thing!"
Marceline smiled. She and Finn then slowly glided to an open balcony. Finn saw jake and PB still dancing. Jake was getting crazy with his dance moves, but PB seemed into it.
When they got to the balcony, Marceline and Finn sat next to each other on the bench. They gazed at the stars together. After a moment of silence, Marceline sighed deeply and spoke up.
"Finn, there's something I've been wanting to tell you for a while."
Finn gave an astonished look. "Yea?"
"I really enjoy the time we spend together. If you don't already know, I have a pretty dark past. Some nights I think I can't go on anymore. When I'm with you, the memories of my past don't bother me as much. I sorta forget about them. You make me feel happy and carefree."
Finn stared in awe. He knew Marceline always flirted with him, but he didn't know she felt this way. He was surprised she felt this way at oall. She doesn't care about people that much.
"Marceline, you really feel this way?"
"Finn, are you kidding me?!" She socked him in the arm.
"Ow."
"Duh!"
"Marcy, I think I feel the same way."
Marceline blushed. She rarely blushed. "You do? I thought you cared about Bonnie more than me."
Finn looked down. "That was in the past. Plus she's kinda snooty."
Marceline laughed. Another thing she didn't do too often anymore. "Isn't she?"
Finn started to laugh too. When they stopped laughing, their eyes met. Marcy looked deep inside Finn's eyes, and Finn did the same to Marcy. They both blushed. Finn leaned in and pulled Marceline into a kiss. Marcy looked surprised at first, but then she closed her eyes and deepened the kiss. She put her hand on his face and gently stroked it. Finn pulled away for a moment, with Marcy's hand still on his face.
"You don't know how long I've waited to do that," Finn said.
"I feel the same way, Finn."
Marcy then grabbed Finn's neck and pulled him into another deep kiss. Finn gently wrapped his arms around Marceline's waist and deepened the kiss. When they pulled away, they looked at each other with such awe and affection, the whole world could have been destroyed and they would still be staring into each others eyes.
"This has been fun."
"It sure has."
"Well Finn, I'm gonna go home. Lets do something tomorrow, okay?"
"You bet!"
Marceline smiled and kissed Finn gently on the cheek. Finn cooed with affection. Marceline then flew away, into the starry sky. Finn wanted that kiss to last forever. He still couldn't believe it happened. Finn knew no one could know about this. Not even Jake.
Finn got up and returned to the ballroom to try to continue dancing, thoughts of Marceline buzzing through his mind.

FanfictionThis is my first fanfic about Marceline and Finn. Farceline has been one of my otps for a while. I decided I should give a go at writing a story about how it would go if they actually got together. Warning there is explicit content in this story.
