Asana's P.O.V
Today is the day.... Me nd Ava are moving to California. We grew up here in Hawaii but now were 17 and ready to move. It was just like yesterday Ava was coming home. *Flashback* "Asana were home!" I came running out today my mom and dad said they were gonna adopt a sister for me. I look and see no one " Mommy where is she?"
"Shes hiding behind me honey. Ava sweety please come out." I see a girl about my age come out from behind my mom. "Hi .I'm Asana are you my sister? I'm 5 how old are you?"
"Uh hi Asana I'm Ava and I think I am. Oh and I'm 5 too."
" Cool lets go get your stuff and help you unpack."
"Okay. Uhm thank you Mr. and Mrs. Stevens."
"Oh Ava don't call us that you're our daughter now call us mom and dad."
"O-okay. Thanks mom and dad for getting me out of there. I'm going to help Asana now."
"Okay run along dear."
I see Ava running towards me "Let's go sis? " I nod my head and we run to the car and grab her stuff. *End Flashback*
Now 12 years later we graduated and are going to California. I look over at Ava shes tearing up as shes putting the last box in the trunk. She closed the trunk and leaned on it while she sighed. I walked over to her hugged her and said "This is the beginning of our lives sis. We finally grew up." She hugs me back and says "Yupp kinda crazy 12 years ago i was calling mom and dad Mr. and Mrs. Stevens." We both laugh at the first week it took her to stop calling our parents that. We let go of each other and head back inside to our parents.Our mom say us and hugged us both tightly "My baby girls are leaving me.I love you two soo much. Be safe babies." Me and Ava look at each other. This is it. Me and Ava start crying and hug our mom tight. "We love you to mom. We'll call you as soon as we land." We let go and go to our dad hes standing there with his arms open wide "My girls are all grown up. Finally leaving me. I love you both so much. Be safe make sure we get a call as soon as you land." We hug him amd nod Ava speaks this time. "We love you to daddy. We'll call you guys dont worry. We'll be back in time for Christmas." With that me and Ava let go. We wave goodbye to bith of them and head out to the car. Since Ava's slightly older than me shes gonna drive to the airport. We wave one last time to our parents and oull off.
