Dear Diary,

Today is the day. Today is the day my life changes forever. Today is the day a new chapter of my life opens. I can't express to you how nervous I actually am. You dream about this moment when you first enter Kindergarten. You never actually put this in reality that this day will actually come. I'm nervous. I'm nervous that I'll fail at being a college student. I'm nervous that I'll fail at my first real job. I'm nervous about everything. I'm nervous about living on my own. One thing I'm most nervous about is living on my own in a whole new country. England. Wish me luck!

Yours Truly,

Leah

It's finally here. I'm graduating today! I can't express how excited and nervous I am. I couldn't sleep last night, I kept thinking about all the memories I made in school. All the friends I made. All the friends that I lost. All the heartbreaks I encountered. All the tears I cried. All the laughs. I'm going to miss school. Wait. Wow. Never thought I would say that.

-------

I have 3 hours before I have to be at the Arena for graduation and I haven't even started getting ready. I'm a procrastinator. Always was and probably always will be.

I started off with doing my hair. I decided to go with lose and bouncy curls. Curls always went well with my long brown hair. I sprench my hair with hair spray so it'll stay the whole day. Not too much though, I don't want my hair looking crusty. That'll be terrible and emabrassing.

I went on to do my makeup. I went with a natural look but still looking bomb as fuck. I always loved makeup. I would binge watch Jeffree Star, Nikki Tutorials and Manny Mua when I should've been doing homework. But again, I'm a hardcore procrastinator. Anyways, by the time I was finished I looked hella good. It may be bias, but I don't care.

I have 15 minutes until I am meant to leave. So I decided to put on my dress and shoes. My dress was a beautiful royal blue laced dress. It's a little bit above my knees which is perfect.

I walked down the stairs to see my mother greeting me at the bottom of the stairs crying.

"You look so beautiful" she cried. Jesus. Why does she always has to be so emotional. "Thanks mom" I replied with a slight smile. I'm not very sappy, well sometimes. But at this very moment, I'm not.

"I still can't wrap my head around the fact my baby girl is graduating!" she said hugging me. She is severly overemotiomal. "Yeah mom. Well it was bound to happen. Now if you'll excuse me I want to have time to eat before I leave. Thanks." I knew if I didn't say anything we would miss the whole ceremony. "Oh yes. Of course. I made your favorite blueberry pancakes and scrambled eggs." she said with a smile. Hmmm. Yummy. I always loved my mom's cooking. That is one I'll miss when I'm in England.

Man. That breakfast was so damn good. I'll miss my mom. Mainly her cooking.

I finally arrived at the arena. My nerves are getting stronger. Gosh. I never actually thought that this day would come. Ok Leah, you got this now go find your friends.

I looked for my best friend, Amanda, as we were assigned to sit next to each other during the ceremony. There is too many people bunched together. This is going to be impossible. Just as I thought that, I spotted her.

"Amanda! There you are!" I yelled. When she saw me a huge grin was formed on her face. "Ahh! I'm so excited!" she screamed in my face. She has always been a little extra but that's what I like about her.

A few minutes had gone by and it was now time to pile into the gymnasium where the ceremony will take place. The class of 2018 took their seats. We had to listen to a few speeches, which was super boring. It was all bullshit. The class president said some things that were completely not true.

They were now announcing everyone's name to get their diploma. I was getting anxious. Until I reached the stage, "Leah Michelle Price" our class president announce. In that moment I heard my mom and family scream. Everything went blank. At that moment I knew that there's no going back. I'm officially a high school graduated.
