He had never really took her seriously, her being the insane sister and all. But now Eren regrets ever dismissing the idea of having zero faith in people.
~Flashback~
It had started off as a casual day.
Eren had drove across the city, overjoyed to see his best friend once again. They had just hung out in his living room until Armin got the bright idea to go to the mall. It should have been fine.
Eren and Armin finished up with their shopping and we're heading back to the parking lot when a familiar pair suddenly made their appearance in the crowd.
Petra and Levi were holding hands by the fountain, gazing into each others eyes as if they held the world in them.
Eren felt his heart shatter at the sight. Levi was supposed to be his lover, not hers. He ran towards the exit, dragging a confused Armin with him.
