Chapter 33: Cody?

BAILEY'S POV

Jake and I walked done to training to find everybody else already there. Including Cody! Bucky tells everybody to off to training, even Cody. What area is he going to train in, I ask myself.

Claire and I almost go to our training area. But Bucky stopped us. You two know that your not allowed to train, Bucky says. Now go and start you flies. Claire and I walk over and sit down and start working.

There is one up side about this, Claire says. And what would that be. After lunch we don't have to work on flies we can just relax, she says. You have a point.

I start filing out all of the flies that I have to do. When Claire hits me with one of them. "OUCH", what was that for? I have been trying to get your attention for 10 minutes, Claire says. Then what is it. Cody keeps looking over here. Do you think he likes you, I ask. "ME", he likes you...stupid, she says. No he doesn't. Oh really then who was he flirting with last night, Claire ask. He wasn't flirting, we were just havering a conversation. What ever, but you should know that he is showing off, she says.

I look over to see if he was. And well Claire was right. Every time does something he flexes and then looks over here and see of I saw. I hate it when guys do that.

I just hope Jake doesn't notice.

JAKE POV

I don't like this new guy Cody, I tell Eric. I don't either, he says. But I'm not the one who should be worried. What do you mean, I say.

Yesterday when you went upstairs to work on your files. he started talking to Bailey. What kind of talk. I don't know, I left after he started talking to her to go work on my files. But I asked Claire. What did she say? He asked her about herself and family things, Eric says.

What kind if family things, I ask. Well for one thing in one conversation he knows that Maddison is a God and who there parents are. What, I say in shock. Does he know about Bailey and I, i ask. I don't think so. Ok!

I thing if a plan. To talk to Bailey when Cody's around and give him the hint to back off. but what can I do? I got it! I go back to training.

Lunch time! We all walk up stairs to the kitchen. We walk in a line because the halls are so small. I can't hold Baileys hand to show that we are together. Think Jake think.

We sit down and finish lunch. We all walk in to the living room. Before we all go our separate ways. I pull Bailey by her hand. She is close to my chest. So, sense we have a night off. would you like to go see a movie, I ask. Of course, she says. She kisses me and walks away.

I think Cody saw or at least heard.
