After we had our silence we had ta move. An I needed a drink.

"Can we go get my car?"

"Of cause you can. I need to get mine"

I went an got my car as Luther got his. We both pulled up front.

"Ok now who will drive with who?"

They looked at me.

"What? Why ya all lookin at me like that?"

"Well your our leader lucy"

I looked at alice.

"Yes you helped us"

Kara told me as she held alice's shoulder.

"You have been my friend an you treated me with kindness since day one"

Jason smiled at me.

"You trust me to help you. You are showing me what it's like to be human"

I stared wide eyes at them. They think I'm leader but.

"But. I'm no leader"

Alice held my hand. I looked at her.

"You have been the best thing to happen to us. Kara even told me that she learned how to be human an take care of me from when you was with me"

Kara nodded in agreement when i looked at her.

I nodded.

"Ok then"

I looked at the seats in Luther's car. 5. Them mine. 7 in total but 5 is available as the luggage take up the boot.

"Ok so i want Luther ta drive his own car an I will drive mine"

I looked at them.

"Jason, kara, alice. Ya will drive with Luther. I will go on my own so that if anything bad happens I will be there. I will drive some cars length behind ya. Just in case"

I gave them a radio speaker.

"if ya press this button I will be able ta here ya. Same with me. If one of us have trouble we can call da other. Do we understand"

Alice ran up ta me.

"I want to drive with you"

I picked her up.

"alice. I want to make sure ya safe so ya bein with more people is more help. I know they can protect ya more than just I could"

Alice kept a tight hold.

"I think it would be a good idea to have alice with you lucy"

I looked at Luther.

"when you fought back to get to jason i had to use all my strength to stop you. I had a feeling you was weak at the time"

Jason had a thought.

"That's right. Your milk. You haven't had any since this morning"

I nodded.

"Ok then. Alice ya with me. Look after each other. Remember if anything gose wrong tell us"

They nodded. I got out my milk as I pored myself a glass. I drank some an put the cup in a cup holder in the car. The bottle went back in the bag. It was still nice an cool.

Me an alice got in the car. I started ta go as soon as the others was at a distance. We was about 6-8 cars away.
