Love at First Sight

Thomas' perspective:

Many say I am quite the ladies man but the truth is I've never really had much luck when it came to love. I've had many people come into my life, but I've had just as many leave. That's when it all happened, I bumped into her, the love of my life. She had beautiful, long silky hair, and dreamy eyes, but alas she was married. That ring on her finger was the only thing keeping me away from her. I would've never expecting things to wind up like this. It's my fault, to be honest, I wasn't watching where I was going. I was running to meet up with Madison, and while I was running, she must have been distracted herself. In the blink of an eye, I was laying on top of her.

"Oh, oh, I'm sorry," She said, trying to help me up. Her voice was soft and smooth, I could feel my cheeks flushing up. I hated it when my cheeks abandoned me. I could see Angelica glaring at me and Peggy looking both surprised and angry. Angelica stomps over to us, pulls Eliza behind her and just smacks me across the face.

"Don't you ever touch Eliza like that again!" "She is a married woman!" Angelica shouts angrily at me. Eliza waved her hand at me as to say sorry while still being dragged away by Angelica. I continued to walk slowly to meet up with Madison, even though I was extremely late. I couldn't stop thinking about her, she was the only thing on my mind. I finally met up with Madison.

"Why are you so late?" He asked me, he seemed slightly angry.

"Hehe," I laugh nervously "well... I bumped into the Schuylers, and now my heart won't stop racing!"

Madison sighed. "Which one do you have a crush on?" He asked slightly bored.

I could tell by his tone of voice he was teasing me.

"Eliza..?" I said hesitantly, I immediately regretted it.

"Based on what I hear, she's the nicest one. So, if you hook up with her, it'd be a good choice." Madison smirks

"James!" I yelled at him, extremely embarrassed. "She's married! It's nothing more than a little crush!" I look around to see everyone in the cafe staring at me.

"Hey, I bet you Angelica and Peggy, and maybe even Eliza, are gonna be at the club tonight. It's kind of a hotspot, I'm going with Burr tonight if you want to tag along." James said with his tea in his hand.

"Okay," I nod with my iced coffee in my hand. I couldn't stop thinking about her, I zone out thinking about her, I rest my head on the table

"Seriously Thomas, you're thinking about her way too much. You literally ran into her once!" Madison exclaims.

"I was laying on top of her," I blurt out way too loud and yet again the whole cafe is staring at me.

"Now that sounds wrong." He said smirking and then took a sip of his tea.

"I know!" I laugh "Angelica slapped me!"

"And why did she slap you?" Madison asked me.

"I 'touched' Eliza," I said, still kind of zoned out.

"Oh rest in peace you! You're already on her bad side!" Madison says in a monotone voice.

"Mhm I know," I say while nodding, "well we should go get ready for tonight," I say to Madison while standing up from the table. Without even letting him answer I run out of the cafe impatient for tonight.
