There were no words to described how shocked I was. Me. A daughter of Aphrodite. This had to be some kind of joke.

After my, like, pink glowy thing some kids led me to the Aphrodite Cabin. A girl approached me, and it was no wonder she was a daughter of Aphrodite, she was gorgeous.

"Hi, I"m Silena Beauregard, I'm the Head Counseler for Aphrodite's Cabin." She smiled at me. "Welcome."

"Uh, hi. I think there's been a mistake, there's no way that the goddess of love and beauty is my mother."

"Aphrodite wouldn't make a mistake," she said. I frowned a little. Silena showed me around the cabin and to my bunk, unlike Hermes cabin, I got to sleep in an actual bed. "I'm sure you'll fit in here, good night!"

"Yeah, night." I placed my sword under my bunk and fell asleep quickly.

The summer days went on and no one had heard anything from Percy or Annabeth or Grover. Me and Tanith stayed friends even though we couldn't eat at the same table anymore. Luke  hung out with us for while, but he started to get distant and stopped talking to us. Which we thought was wierd.

"Only a day until the summer solstice." I said to Tanith

"So?" she responded. We were sitting by the lake, watching the view before dinner.

"We still haven't heard anything about Percy and them, their deadline is tommorrow."

"Oh. Are you friends with Percy?"

"Yeah, I guess so."

"Okay."

The conversation stopped and the signal for dinner sounded. We walked together to the dinner pavilion before sitting at our separate tables.

I didn't really have friends in the Aphrodite cabin. Nobody disliked me, but I just wasn't very social with them, or into the things they were (although they all thought my pink milk was some sign that I belonged there).

I was honestly so bored at camp and had nothing to do during free time. Sometimes I would talk with Tanith or practice sword fighting techniques with her, which is so un-Aphrodite of me. But when she doing something with the Hermes cabin I would lie around the Aphrodite cabin. All the other girls would put on make up or create new outfits, and the guys would mess around with their hair, I just sat there. Doing nothing.

Sometimes after curfew I would sneak out to the lake and just relax before a Harpy would notice me. I felt so freakin' rebellious.

The next day was like all the others, except I was anxious to learn about what Percy was doing. I wondered if they were still alive, or maybe the gods had already decided they were worthless.

It was free time and I headed back to the Aphrodite cabin. Some of the girls were giggling and whispering and so I went to see what they were doing.

Somehow they had procured some hair dye and were adding colorful streaks into their hair.

"Lexi, do you want to do some of your hair?" Someone asked. I bit my lip, thinking about it.

"Sure," I complied, sitting down in a chair and pointed at the color I wanted in my hair.

An hour later, my blonde hair smelt kind of bad, but it had a few streaks of blue pink, and purple. I like it; it was change I felt I needed. I walked into the dinner pavilion, my newly colored hair in curls, (courtesy of one of my sisters) and sat done at the Aphrodite table.
