When new readers are brought to the shelter or a foster home, they are given a special woven sweater made out of white wool and magic. These sweaters detect the most prominent trait of the Reader Bitty and take some of that SOUL magic to dye the wool the corresponding color.
A Reader Bitty can have more than one color on their sweater.
The hue of the color also changes depending on the Reader Bitty's personality.
