When the storm was over all the kids in the orphanage had to do their chores. We all had equal chores even the little ones did something. We each had a list of 3-5 chores and when we were done we got ice cream if we were done early. The chores aren't really that bad actually. All of our chores were pretty simple like pick up your toys, wash the dishes, do the laundry, fix the pipes, do the bed, change the babies diapers, help other kids put on clothes , etc.

The only problem to this was that it was super crowded in the halls, so instead of just rushing into the hall ways and rooms the house keepers made a line. This just made it slower, but easier i think they should of just made all the kids do their chores in their room. Then it wouldn't be that crowded at all. I know that sounds kind of stupid, but it was an idea of pure imagination. My life is pretty boring here and I don't really get ideas much since I am never taught, but I think I can get a family of my own if i just tried. After I finished my chores first like always I hear something in the front office. I hide by a tree and hear some weeping and a talking at the same time.

Thats when I notice we have a new orphan in the building. Soon after they finish talking I see the girl walk by with out her noticing me. I was relived, I mean I didn't want to get in trouble for over hearing or else I would get a beating. After the girl left and the house keeper too. I decided to do some investigation on who the new girl was. I hid from every house keeper that day just so I could figure out who that girl was. When I stop, at one point I notice I wasn't grieving like I always do. I was actually looking for some adventure which was very surprising for me. When I finished thinking about how I was not sad I went back to looking for that girl and who she was. It turned out that nobody knew all us know that adults don't come here unless its adoption day on saturday or sunday and it was Thursday. Which gave me a big thought on my mind why was she really here she looked about my aged, but was with an adult when she walked in. I soon would know why she was here.
