Chapter FOUR

🎩Kian's P.O.V🎩

The second I saw Mel, I knew I had to make her mine. Her blue eyes accent her brown hair and tan skin perfectly.

I love the way her eyes sparkle when she laughs. How she's not afraid to get rough but she can cuddle up and watch a movie. The way her nose scrunches up when she gets angry.

I could go on all day.

I finally got the courage to ask her on a date tonight. I'm not usually one for formal nights so I'm going to take her to the beach. I'm going to pack some food and we are going to spend the evening there.

When the sun sets, I will ask her the be my girlfriend.

🌜Mel's P.O.V🌛

Okay. So my date with Kian is in an hour and I'm not even near ready. I don't even own a swimsuit.

That's a slight issue...

"RICKY!" I yell.

"WHAT MEL? IM FILMING!"

"FILM LATER I NEED YOU!"

I finally hear his foot steps come down the hall.

"Yes Mel?" He asks.

"Okay so I have a date tonight and I need a swimsuit and I don't own one. Where do I get a swimsuit?"

"Well, there's a mall down the street you- WAIT. YOU HAVE A DATE TONIGHT?" Ricky yelled.

"Yap." I said popping the "p".

"WITH WHO? IS HE A DRUGGIE? IS HE A DOUCHE?"

"Well you know him better then me so..."

"Is one of the O2Ls?"

"Uh yes..."

"WHO? IM GOING TO KILL THEM!"

"KIAN, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE BIG DEAL IS RICKY!" I yelled kinda mad.

Ricky didn't answer he just stormed out of the room. I guess I felt kinda bad for Kian but Ricky has no right to tell me who I can and can't date!

Okay I guess I overreacted when I heard that Kian asked my Mel out. But I had already told them Mel was off limits! She has been hurt way too much in the past.

It's not that I don't trust my best friends to take care of her but I'm just worried. She only has her mom who is constantly working and she has only had one boyfriend who ended up abusive.

I can't see her hurt again.

🌜Mel's P.O.V🌛

I had half an hour to go buy a swimsuit and get ready.

I grabbed my pennyboard and rode to the mall Ricky was talking about. When I got there, I went into the first store I saw.

I didn't even read the name. I just ran in and found the swimming suits. I looked through until I found a cute bikini.

The top was white and the bottoms were a mint green color. I found the right size and brought it to the check out. Once I bought it I jumped on my pennyboard and rode back as fast as I could. I had 5 minutes.

I got ready and called for Kian.

No answer.

I went in his room and saw a note addressed to me.

I picked it up and read it. It said:

Mel,

I'm really sorry Mel. I'm canceling our date. I guess I didn't really know what I was thinking when I asked you and I really don't like you very much. I hope we can still be friends.
