Broken.

I was broken.

How could he?

I guess I am worthless. Damien was right. Damien is my ex. He would abuse me and call me worthless. I guess it's true. No one needs me. They're better off without me.

I went into the bathroom and grabbed my blades I kept hidden.

👉Ricky's P.O.V👈

I went into Kian's room to have a "chat" with him.

"Kian. Buddy."

"Hey Rickster!" Kian said back.

"What's up buddy?" I said.

"I'm taking Mel to the beach tonight." Kian said, his eyes twinkling when he said her name.

"Really? She told me Connor was taking her to the movies."

I saw Kians face fall.

"Do you want to go somewhere to get your mind off things?" I asked, knowing we had to go somewhere out of the house or else Kian would find out that I had lied and that Mel was actually out buying a swimsuit for their "date".

"Yeah dude. That's probably a good idea. Thanks." Kian responded.

"Why don't you head out to the car. I have to change real quick."I said.

"Kay dude." Kian said and walked out.

I grabbed a piece of paper and started writing a note.

Mel,-

I couldn't believe Mel ditched me.

She just didn't seem like the person to do that!

I'm glad Ricky is here for me though. It's good to have close friend that you can count on.

🌜Mel's P.O.V🌛

I cut until I had no more room left to cut. I stood up and wiped off my cuts and changed into a long sleeve shirt and pants.

I went downstairs wincing at the pain.

I heard someone behind me so I tried to straighten up and act like nothing was wrong. But Connor saw right through me.

"Mel. Are you okay? You're going pretty slow..."

"I'm perfectly fine!" I said mustering up a fake smile and perkiness.

"You don't seem like it." He said.

And of course me being me, I slipped and fell. Only to have Connor catch me.

His hand dug into my cuts and I howled in pain.

My cuts reopened and blood started seeping through my clothes.

"Mel?" Connor said.

That was the last thing I heard until everything faded into black.
