Discordant Details

Awful names

       After digging through, for lack of a better term, the author's mind, I found a few repressed memories, many of them being names. So that's what I'm gonna talk about today. Seriously people, what the hell are you thinking? Do you even say this stuff out loud before you use it?

       Lets start with mine, Anti. Really, Megan?... That's the best you could do? Its not even original! Not only did you take the alter-ego idea, which isn't overused it the at all, but you didn't even change the name! You just cut the "septiceye" part off! Do you think no one notices? Or do you just not give a shit? Oh, yes, how could I have forgotten? You've been thinking about a better one recently, haven't you? It was Discord, right? Or Discordia? What the actual fuck. If we're talking new names, my vote's for Discord. I've seen your other ideas. Not that I would let you change it, of coarse. Anti might be a shitty name, but its MY shitty name. 

       Speaking of Discord, that idea came to mind when you first started planning this book, didn't it? Oh man, thank god you changed the title. Discord's Diary. You'd probably get a bunch of little girls in trouble for reading stuff with swearing. I'll give you some credit, though. At least you picked a good villain, considering its from a kid's show. What was the reason behind it, again? That im supposed to be Dem's counterpart, but you didn't want to make me evil. A few scrapped ideas later, you pull the term "Chaos Demon" out of the air. Don't use that, for my sake and yours. It sounds like a bad Sonic OC. Ooh, Sonic OC's. That's a good idea, we'll do that next time.

       Getting back to terrible names, lets talk about a few more of the authors before we pick on other people. For example, Blaze. Holy shit. That character isn't around anymore, so for those of you who don't know him, he was Casey's older brother, back before Megan wrote down her stories or rp'd with anyone apart from herself. Blaze the vampire hunter. Wow. I'm shook. A lot of her weird-ass names where never finalized or written down, and most of them where last names. Lakeheart, Demonica, Brightstone, and those are just a few.

       Now, on to other people's bullshit. Lets face it, all of us have called a character shadow at some point in our lives, but really? I mean, I get it if the character was named already, but if your older then 11 and start use the name shadow ANYWHERE in a new characters name, you need to take a visit to a name generator. I know Keegan's author will flip his shit about that, but he's been using the name for a few years. Ive accepted it at this point, its his staple name.

       I like the Warriors series, its pretty good and the names fit the characters. That being said, if your not a cat, and I mean an actual cat, I suggest not putting "tail", "pelt", "kit", or "paw" in your name. Its not as bad as others, but its still pretty uncreative.
