Chapter 16- A Scan

I was finally about to leave the hospital! I was going back to the mansion only for the kids. I never wanted to see German again, mainly because, if I did, I would burst out into tears and then take him back. But I can't! I haven't seen him for a week! After Pablo came, he didn't visit again.

Pablo was coming to pick me up so I went out to reception to wait for him. I was on crutches because I had broken my right leg in the crash. When I was waiting, I saw Vilu and Leon walk through the door. Vilu's belly was beginning to show now.

"Hey guys, why are you here?"

"For my scan, I am 15 weeks today!"

"Didn't you have a 12 week scan?"

"I was going to, but I wanted to try and wait until you were out of your coma!"

"Oh, okay! Well, I will see you at home later."

"Is dad coming to pick you up?"

So German hadn't told her yet.

"No, Pablo is."

"Why isn't my dad picking you up, he has no meetings today?"

I didn't know what to tell her.

"Violetta Vargas." The nurse called

"Oh, that's me, see you later Angie!"

Vilu's POV

"Okay, so you didn't have a 12 week scan, is that correct?"

"Yes, we had family problems."

I was so nervous, I held Leon's hand tightly.

"I know what you're thinking, it will be okay." He whispered.

"So, I'm just going to rub this onto your belly then if you look at the monitor you will see your baby." Said the nurse as she finished what she was doing. She turned the monitor towards me and Leon and I couldn't help the tears of joy that began to flow down my cheeks.

I turned to Leon and he smiled at me. He was crying too  even though he said he wouldn't!

"So here is the head, and this here is the body There is two arms here and two legs there! And you will be relieved to know, your baby has a strong, healthy heartbeat too!"

When she said that, I couldn't help but smile. I was just so astounded by it all! I can't believe that in 25 weeks I will be a mum"

"Do you know your due date yet?"

"No."

"Okay well according to our records.." She said searching through some documents. "Your due date is the 5th January."

I smiled at Leon. He smiled back.

"Would you like to know the gender of your baby?" She asked

I turned to Leon. He was smiling and nodding.

"Yes, please."

"You are having......."

What do you think it will be? A girl, or a boy?
