Ryan came back with the first aid kit. For some reason when I saw it my whole body hurt. God I'm so pathetic. He knelt by me and I scooted away. Idiot! He's trying to help you. I look over at him and open my mouth to say sorry but the words wouldn't come out so I just looked at the ground. He scooted closer to me and pulled out some bandages. "Jezz, your really beat up. It must really hurt." He went to pull up my sleeve. My eyes widened. I graded his rist. He looked up at me surprised. "Uh, sorry." I loosened my grip. "My arms are fine....." I lied. My arm hurt like hell. But I couldn't let him see my arm. "If you don't mind me asking," I looked up at him. "Who did this to you?" We made eye contact. We sat there for a few seconds then I  looked down. "Um, well... it..." stop stuttering you idiot!
"It's fine, you don't have to tell me. Just forget I said anything." I looked up to see him smiling, I couldn't help but smile back. "Hey, this is the first time I've seen you smile." H-he's noticed. "I like it"

Time skip
I went to sit down with Kelly and Ash. Not before Devin and his friend shoved me around. I sat down and Kelly gave me a big smirk. "What?"  "What do you mean 'what?'. Have you talked to him yet?" Oh no here come the questions. "Well, kinda...." Ash looked up smiled. "Really?!? What did he say?" They both looked at me intensely. "Well-"  " Hey, your the kid I helped in the hallway, I never got your name. "Ryan sat right by me. We all froze. "Um.. i-it's James" I felt my phone go off in my pocket. It was Kelly.

I looked up at Ryan. Who was, of course, smiling. "Cool, my names Ryan." I looked at my hands. "I know who are"  "What?" Crap! Did I say that out loud?! "Um no, I-i mean , your the coolest, no not the coolest, no I mean your cool," everyone started to laugh at me making a complete fool of myself.  "What my friend here is trying to say is," Kelly threw her arm around my shoulder. "Your popular, everyone knows your name."  Ryan looked at us surprise rose on his face. "Are you guys.." me and Kelly looked at each other and then right back at Ryan. "No! Never!" We both started all the reasons why we wouldn't date. "And plus I'm dating this one over here who has been hiding in her book this whole time." Ashes eyes peek perk up. "Kelly!" Me and Ryan laughed as Ash and Kelly went back and forth at each other. " Hey James, I was wondering if we had any classes together."  "Umm" I opened my bag and grabbed my schedule. I handed it to Ryan. He looked over it and handed it back to me. "Great! We have most of our classes together." I couldn't help but smile at that. "Hehe. You smiled again. I guess I make you smile. "
