Bucky watched Steve leave the room, as he lay down on his back, the heat consuming him. He still didn't trust Steve, but the soldier knew the only way to get back at Romanoff.. is using someone out of bars.

Steve walked towards the red's room. Until, he came face to face with her.

"Need something, Rogers?" Natasha asked, visibly inpatient. The tension built up in the room, as Steve stared through her soul.

"What did you do with Agent 34?" Steve asked, his arms crossed against his chest. Natasha tilted her head, showing no sign of surprise.

"Barnes got in your head, didn't he?" Romanoff asked, "The soldier will tear you apart, Rogers.." Steve squinted. It was almost impossible to see if Natasha was lying or not.. she was a spy.

"Then, you won't mind if I check your room?" Steve quirked his eyebrow.

Natasha shrugged. "Go ahead.. Tell me if you find anything." The redhead left the room, and allowed Steve to pass. Rogers looked around, with no luck. There were no clues.. Maybe Bucky was lying.

~❤️~

Natasha didn't let the fury swoop into her face, as she entered Bucky's cell. She wasn't surprised to see him laying down, his hands under his head, as he stared up at the ceiling.

"Whatever you're here for.. I suggest you go back," Bucky stated, his eyes glued to the ceiling.

"You made a mistake.." Natasha said. Bucky quirked his eyebrow, and got up. His metal arm was dented, and his steel blue eyes pierced through Natasha's soul.

"You can't allow change, Romanoff?" Barnes asked.

"I can't allow Steve to get hurt..." the red answered back, "We both know you have something up your sleeve."

"What's your relationship with Steve?" Barnes asked.

"He is one of my closet friends.. I can't let him get hurt.." Natasha sighed.

"You already know who is getting hurt.. Who would Steve pick.. me or you? Steve trusts me, and your just distancing yourself from him," Bucky stated. Natasha hated to admit it, but.. Barnes was right. Natasha needed to get on Steve's good side.

"And, What do you expect I do?" Romanoff asked. Bucky thought for a while.

"I want you to.." He thought, "Give me back my memories."

"I have no idea where your memories are, Barnes," Natasha sighed, "You're looking at the wrong place."

"You know if I become unstable, HYDRA must have hidden it in their compartment," Barnes suggested.

"Well, we better hurry. If Fury finds out you've escaped, it's a death sentence," Natasha stated, unlocking his cage. Bucky slid out, loading his guns.

"If you pull any tricks, your dead.." Natasha warned. Bucky scoffed, and Natasha used the cage as a boost to jump onto the roof. They hijacked the hellicarrier, as Natasha drove towards HYDRA's rumored location, dropping down on the nearby forest.

"Now what?" Bucky asked, aiming his guns at the guards.

"We'll attack from above.." Natasha stated, climbing the tree. Bucky followed after her, his metal arm gripping the branches.

"Guards can't see us up here," Bucky noticed, attaching the grappling hook to the top of the tree.

"Better than broad daylight.." Natasha smirked riding down the grappling hook, landing safely on he top of the building. Bucky followed after her, using a crowbar to open the top vents. They slid down the vents, entering a room full of scientists.

"Freeze!" Bucky shouted, aiming is gun, at the scientists, "Anyone moves, I'm shooting!" Natasha aimed her guns.

"That the chair?" Natasha asked, nudging towards a chair, which had magnetic bolts floating around it. Bucky nodded, sitting down on the chair.

"Any of you know how to work this thing?" Bucky asked, sitting down on the chair. One of the scientists nodded, slowly coming over to the chair. He strapped Bucky in, putting the helmet on his head. As the scientists pulled the lever, Bucky's screams filled the room. The electricity suddenly stopped, and Bucky felt more.. open. His mind feeling expanded.

But, only one name rung in his ears "Natalia Romanova."
