Mr. Jackson continued with the introductions, but was constantly glancing at me.
"Miss. Lavender, you're up." The girl from earlier walked up to the front of the class quite quickly.
Her hair covered her right eye as she looked at her feet. "So, tell us about yourself." He said placing the clipboard down.
She cleared her throat. "My name is Samantha, but I just go by Sam." She said still looking at her feet. She took a quick glance up, and blushed a bit. "I was born October 16th." She continued. "And I live with my-" She took a deep breath. "...Dad." She said it quietly, it was almost impossible to hear. She walked, almost sprinted, back to her seat.
Some of the kids glared at her, some just stared at her with no expression. Did she say something bad? What the hell did I miss?
The bell rang and everyone got up. "Head to u your assigned class." The teacher announced as we walked out the class. I searched around for my ELA class, Mrs. Kynnedy.
I opened the door and saw one kid in the back tapping his foot. He looks unsettled, or nervous. I shot in the very back table. Sadly, we didn't get our own desks.
A few more kids walked in. The teacher was working on some papers at her desk. A girl with blonde hair say beside me, a boy who looked like a jock sat in front of the blonde girl, and a girl with brown hair sat in front of me. Sam.
Once all of the kids were in the class, the teacher pulled up a PowerPoint. It was basically telling us about her basic life. Husband, daughter, and so on...
I felt something tickling my thigh. I look down and see the blonde girl's hand rubbing it. I swallow hard. I didn't want to be rude, so I just slowly move my leg away. I hear her laugh, probably because I was blushing. I wasn't interested in dating anytime soon. The boy gives me a glare. The girl puts her hand back on my thigh and I slowly push it away. The teacher ends the PowerPoint and hands out some papers.
"Alright Class, now that we're done with that, I want to know a little bit about you. So I want y'all to fill out the paper so I can know more about y'all." She announces while she was done handing them out.
The paper asked for your name. Easy. The questions went like this,
Name: _______
Age: ______
Color: ______
Song: ______
Best Friend: ______
Animal: ______
Food: ______
Movie: ______
Show: ______I answered all of them except the best friend one. I thought for a moment. I remembered one friend that I was friends with for over five years. 'Oliver'.
