Best Of Wives And Best Of Women
I awoke early at, most likely, five AM. As I took notice that Alexander wasn't with me in bed, I heard noises coming from Alexander's office. I got out of bed to see what Alexander what writing at this hour.
"Alexander, what are you doing in this early hour?" I asked. " I woke up, and remembered something that I needed to write down."
"Come back to bed, it's still dark outside."
"I have an early meeting out of town"
"Please, Alexander, come back to bed."
"I'll be there in a minute, Eliza"
"Well I'm going back to sleep."
"Hey, best of wives and best of women."
I smiled after he said that and walked away back into our room.
Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard Alexander walk up to me. As he put his hand on my face, I wake up. I hold his hand and smile,as he smiles back he kisses my hand and said farewell to me as he left for his meeting.
