The note below is written to you be Lauren Kutterfly:
Hey readers!!! Argh, FINALLY! That was far too much formal notes right there! Anyhow, a spot for LKT is still open so join now! And, for the record, I'm a VERY competitive person. I'm trying to defeat two books right now- It Was You All Along(Jean x Reader... I think) an this... book. Forgot the name. You'll know though. Just search up 'Attack on Titan' and scroll down until you see my book(in the second page). The two books above me are the ones I want to surpass. While you're at it, can you count to see which place I'm in? I think I'm in 25-27 but I'm not sure... THANKS!
Levi: You're mental, woman.
Me: So I've been told...
Levi: And you have short attention spam.
Me: Why you little- Oh! Look! Butterfly!
Lesson learned: Erza78787 is the definition of 'crazy'.

Chapter 29
I paced back and forth in my room. Too many things happened to me today. Many of them I don't even understand myself.
I sighed and walked over to my window. Everything outside seemed too happy for my mood right now. I groaned. It was getting old to just stay in my room unless told otherwise.
When we got back to Headquarters, Erwin immediately went into his office and shut himself out. My dad followed him and went into his office whether or not he liked it. For all I know, neither of them has come out of that room yet.
I walked back to my bed and collapsed onto it. Today was too confusing, What did Noah mean by 'A Fated Hero'? What 'Phophecy'? Nothing made sense to me anymore.
I slowly sat up and stared at my room. There was barely anthing in here. Just a nightstand, my bed, and a closet. Nothing else.
I got up and headed over to my door. I opened it up just a crack with enough space to stick my head out and see if n=anyone was roaming the halls. No one.
I slipped out and closed the door behind me softly, hoping that no one would hear me. I tiptoed through the halls to the door that led to the garden. I pushed the door and it gave away, opening up to reveal the outside. I grinned in victory. Maybe I should of became a ninja back in the real world in Japan.
I squeezed my way through the door and closed it behind me with a soft thud.
I let out a breath of relief and spred my arms out.
"Ah, yes," I breathed in the scent of the flowers. "Finally free from the clutches of my parents."
I grinned and walked on the little path that circled the garden. All of the flowers, trees, and bushes look beautiful here. I smiled and bent down and pick a rose from a bush. I twirled it in my fingers and watched the petals of reed slowly detach themselves from the middle and float swiftly down to the ground.
I stood and looked up at the clear blue sky dotted with white clouds.
"Today's a good day, huh?" I said to the air. "On a day like this, my mom would take me and Cecilia to the park for picnics. We would laugh and joke around until evening. That's not going to ever going to happen again, right?" The sky didn't reply. A gentle wind whistled through my hair as if to tell me that I wasn't alone. That hope was still alive. I smiled.
"You're telling me to go on, right God?' I whispered softly as I stared at the sky. I reached out my hand as if I might be able to touch whoever was up there watching us humans. "I will. I promise. I'll get my past life back no matter the cost."
The wind picked up a little and ruffled my dress. My hair blew around my face. I felt happy inside. At least I knew I wasn't completely alone in this world. Someone's up there watching me, protecting me.
As I stood there in the wind, a certain someone's voice called,"Karen? Come in! Lunch is served!" So much for stealth.
I turned and saw my mom waving for me to come in.
"Coming!" I called back and ran towards the house. Before I went in, I turned around one last time and looked into the clear blue above.
"Please stay with me," I whispered to the Heavens before heading inside.
-----------------------------------------
"So, what were you doing in the gardens?" my mom asked as she took a bite out of her sandwich. She turned Demy who was standing silently beside the table. "Demy, do you mind fretching a ptcher of lemonade? I'm quite thirsty."
Demy nodded hurridly and she scrampered away while muttering,"R-Right away M-Miss."
"So, what's Dad and Erwin doing?" I asked my mom casually as if it were our everyday conversation to have.
My mom shrugged and said,"Who knows? Whatever they're talking about, I'm sure it isn't back, Honey. So, don't worry."
"What do you mean by 'don't worry'?" I asked out loud. "Shouldn't I be 'completely-over-the-edge worried by now?!"
My mom looked down into her lap.
"I'm sorry Karen," she finally said, softly. "I didn't mean to drag you into all of this, but I just want you to understand that this might not be all bad. It might turn out to be a good expereince for you to gain many more new friends!"
At that, I stood up suddenly and said in a deadly tone,"Gain more friends? I think not. Friends is just another word for lies." And with that, I turned on my heel and walked out the room before my mom could say anything else.
Unfortunately, I wans't quick enough and my mom grabbed my wrist before I could go any further.
"Wait! Karen, perhaphs you didn't have the best childhood, but look at you now! You gained new friends! I know because me and your father has kept an eye on you ever since you came here! You gained Demy, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin! Those are your friends right?! So, you aren't alone! Please, Karen! Please see that!"
I froze on her words. Demy, Eren, Mikasa, and Armin are my... friends? I wrenched my hand out of her grasp.
"Maybe," I said with my back turned to her. I quickly walked away, leaving my mom standing by the doorway with a sad expression.
"Karen," Caitlyn whispered. "Whatever is to happen from now on, always remember that you are me and Levi's one and only daughter. We love you no matter what. Please keep that in mind."
