Katelyn's POV

This girl, Lilia, didn't seem to like me very much. I played with my hair as I followed her up the stairs. I wanted to make conversation, so I cleared my throat.

"Uhm, I moved here from California.. What's it like in New York?" I had a slight Hispanic accent. Me and my family moved here from California, to suburban New York. Lilia scoffed and didn't answer.

She opened the door to her room. It was covered with art projects, but it was incredibly neat and organized. I smiled. "I love your room." I complimented. Lilia just absent mindedly nodded and sat down. "Mhmm." I sighed and looked around, picking up a little sculpture. Her head snapped and she stood up, snatching it from my hands.

"What did I tell you about the looking with your eyes??" She hissed bitterly. I'm off to a great start with this girl...
