SSsThere was a room. An impossibly large and extremely lavish room. It was a mix of modern architecture and Ancient Greek architecture as if it was trying to match the current architecture of the world but was also trying to pay homage to its roots . The room had a sleek black marble floor decorated with a kaleidoscope of ever changing white colored patterns. The roof was white as day, harshly contrasting the black floor but also making the room seem more spacious than it actually was. It was being supported by twenty large pillars standing on the sides of the room. Each pillar was decorated with murals of deities that had existed before the planet of life. The walls in the room were made almost entirely of clear gray glass looking out into an eternal blackness.
On one side lay a large raised platform which had a majestic swirling black throne on it. Other smaller thrones lay in a semi circle around the platform. On each of the thrones sat a being, some glowing with blinding white light other pulsed with blinding darkness. Each throne reflected the beings self, some thrones bright as the sun while others were as black as night. Only two thrones lay empty. One, a throne made up of wood and dirt as if reflecting the very earth itself. The other being the throne on the platform.
As the beings sat silently, the room suddenly darkened and a yawning pit of pure darkness opened beneath them and a figure stepped out. His features were indistinguishable but he wore the skin of a man. That much was clear. He walked slowly to his throne and sat down on it. He surveyed the room closely but as his eyes reached the empty throne, he seemed to seethe in anger.
"Where is Gaia?", he asked. He had a clear but demanding voice that could make the strongest of gods quiver in their shoes.
A lady bathed in black stepped in front of the the deity and bowed deeply before saying in a soft but clear voice, "My Lord, Gaia is still in Tartarus's Prison."
The figures eyes seemed to flick towards a man who had dark black pupils and a swirling red crimson color surrounding the pupils. The man gave a nod to the deity before snapping his fingers.
With a flash of light that could burn a man's eyes, a lady appeared on her throne. She had mud brown hair and dark chocolate eyes and looked like a piece of Earth taken form. If she had not been bloodied and bruised, she could have been called immensely beautiful. The woman's eyes surveyed the room but as eyes focused on the deity, they burned in rage. She screamed at the figure, "You controlled me. You forced me to kill and murder th-"
She was abruptly cut out when the figure snapped his fingers. Her mouth snapped shut and she seemed to struggle to say anything or get up. The deity instead looked at a woman with flowing golden hair and a face that kept changing from a child's to a woman's to a old lady's, "Ananke".
The woman bowed deeply before the figure and said in a voice that was hesitant, full of hate, and completely subservient at the same time, "It is done my Lord. Do you think it will work?".
The figure smiled at the woman, "Of course it will work." The man stops before continuing," I must go now." and with that he disappeared into thin air.
