Chapter Two

The light shone through the curtains in Jade's new room, making her skin glow from the sun rays. Jades eyes fluttered as her dream became to an end and she woke up, stretching outwards making her limbs pop back into place. She looked over at the clock and it read 9:48 am, it's too early she thought and plonked herself back down on her back.

A small knock was heard on the door and entered Helen, Jade turned her head to see her fully dressed with a smile on her face. " Morning, did you sleep well" Jade nodded "Well if you want, we could go into the town and get some clothes and some other things?" She started to look away from Jade because she didn't know how she would react, she would either love to go with her and feel pleasured or she would snap at Helen because she's flashing her cash.

"That'd be wonderful" Jade said in a suttle tone and turned over to get out of bed to get changed. Helen left her be and walked down the stairs to make breakfast for the young teenager. Jade went over to the small suitcase she brought with her and picked out her nicest clothes, a mickey mouse top and leggings. She looked at herself in the mirror and sighed "Hopefully i get some clothes today" she told herself before going downstairs to eat.

The town was a new experience for Jade, the little musicians playing their instruments in cracks of the streets, the advertising people handing out leaflets promoting their company's and the shop workers shouting out the offers that are in the stores. "So I was thinking we either could get your new phone then go for lunch then shop, or we can shop then get your phone and eat. What'd say?" She felt privileged that Helen wanted to spend that much money on her, but she was still tired from earlier.

"Erm the second choice sounds better, I'm not really hungry right now" Helen nodded and off they went around all the shops. They spent over two and a half hours shopping for new stuff for Jade, she mostly picked out baggy jumpers with Disney characters on, or t's with quotes from her favourite movies. The two headed towards the closest phone shop and looked at the deals in the window, but one if the stood out for Jade, the new iPhone deal was glistening in hers eyes and she didn't realise Helen could tell she wanted it. Jade has never had a phone before, the care home didn't allow them because it wouldn't be fair on the other children plus other foster parents didn't want to spend that much money on a child that they're only going to keep for a week or so.

"Come on then, let's get some food" Jade turned around and saw Helen walking out the shop.

"But-"

"Jade, I've just bought the phone you've been drooling on for the past what 6-7 minutes" they both let out a slight chuckle and Helen gave Jade the phone bag then headed to the local cafe.

The bell jingled above the door as they both walked through the cafe, the waitress heard it go off so she turned round to greet the two. "Hi, what can i get for you today?" the girls olive skin glowed on her cheeks, her raven afro swayed as the air conditioning hit it. 

"Er can i have a small mocha with a almond muffin please, Jade dear what do you want?" her eyes were searching all over the menu board above their heads, there's so much too choose from she thought to herself, in the end Jade went for something small that she knew she'd like.

"can i get a hot chocolate with the two biscuits please" she said shyly and just loud enough for the waitress to hear.

"Okay, if you want to take a seat, i'll be right back with your order" she gave them a warm smile when the walked away to sit in the booth next to the window. Jade couldn't hold it in any longer she had to look at her new phone. 

"Helen, can i open the phone now please?" Jade asked with pleading eyes and received a nod from her foster mum. She couldn't get in the bag faster and pulled out the iPhone that was now hers. After about five minutes of trying to set the phone up, Jade was starting to get a little impatient with all the details you have to put in. 

"Hey, how come i've never seen you around here before?" the afro haired girl came over and placed their orders on the table.

"Er, well i've just moved into my new foster parents home" Jade let out half a smile as she put her finger in the cream on top of the hot chocolate.

"Oh, well here's your orders and by the way, you've got to press next button in that corner" She let out a slight giggle and pressed the button on Jades phone. Helen thanked the waitress and the two made small talk whilst they drank and ate. Today wasn't that bad after all Jade thought to herself as they made it back to the car to go home.
