YOU loved me for the imperfections i
endlessly supplied you with and
somehow you made them beautiful
and crafted me into something i admired
when i look in the mirror.

"ah, you have such beautiful eyes! did you know those are my favorite thing about you? theyre so beautiful, my love. you, you are so unbelievably beautiful."

my eyes are red rimmed and bruised
from too less of sleep. i need you here,
the warmth you radiate and the
soft hum of your voice and your hand
in my hair, smiling against my shoulder.

"ah, baby, please sing more. youre so talented and your voice is so beautiful and it sounds like pure honey. oh, my love, why wont you sing more?"

my voice breaks and cracks, hoarse
from crying and broken from missing
you. if i sing will you come back?

"please always pursue your own happiness above anyone elses. always be who you truly are and dont change to make someone else happy. if they cant love you who for you so beautifully are, they are simply not looking with focused eyes. wait for them to clear up and theyll come running back to you on their knees, baby."

thank you for believing that i was
beautiful and perfect. thank you
for holding me when i got angry or
upset and calming me, even when
you werent there. i still think about
the way our love was so young and
beautiful and pure, we were so naive,
angel. and i would changed the way
i was to feel you murmur i love you
when you hold me one last time.
