8:00am

We were just sitting around, watching some shows since the early morning talk. Brian was playing some chords on my acoustic guitar. "Guys, guys! The news" Johnny made our attention focused on TV screen. It was news from local channel

Attention for all the citizens. Tonight from 12:01am until 7:00am, there will be purge going on. This action is to clean our city from the rebels, the wicked, and the fallen ones. May our lives are blessed and are saved.

"That's bullshit!" Brian shouted. We were all pissed off, upset, confused. None of us ever thought they would do that. And we knew already that we were part of the target. Hell, we were probably number one target.

"So, they clean the city and their souls by killing the so called unclean ones," Matt let out dry laugh. "That's even worse than making hardcore music and stealing beers" Zacky groaned.

I sighed, plopped down to the couch. Then, what? They're going to wear flower crown when they murder us? How aesthetic.

1:00pm

Currently, we were just jamming in my basement, trying to distract ourselves. I admitted, sometimes I just wanted to leave this world. But, not like this. "Lynz!" Jimmy snapped me out of it. "What?" "Come get beers and some food with me." He stood in the doorway. "Yeah, man, I'm starving" Johnny chirped. "And I need a fucking drink" Brian mumbled. I sighed, "right, okay."

I pulled my hoodie, trying to hide my face to avoid people who kept glancing at me and Jimmy. He probably noticed how uncomfortable I was, because he put his arm around my shoulder pulling me to his side. He kissed my head, whispering sweet nothings, like "it will be fine" or "it's okay, I'm here"

Jimmy grabbed 2 packs of beers, I grabbed some snacks. We head to the cashier for the payment. Right before we left, the cashier guy snickered, "enjoy your last beers and foods." Jimmy glared at him. "Fuck off" I muttered.

Jimmy kept me in his arm as we head back. "Jimbo, you're awfully cuddly today" I joked. "Maybe, because it's our last day?" he looked down to me. I playfully glared at him.

"Hi, Jim and Lynz!" someone shouted. "Hey, Jason, my dude!" Jimmy ran to Jason. "Hey, Jason. How you doing, man?" I hugged him. Jason, and his brother Matt Berry, are our close friends. They usually hang out with us, and the other guys too. "Doing good, at least, for now." "It will be fine, dude. You don't look like a bad kid at all" Jimmy trying to cheer him up. "I don't know, man. I think the neighbors ever heard when Matt and I were blaring some music" he shrugged. "We really can't do anything about it, Jas," I sighed. "I know. Just you all be careful" he gave us sad smile. "Yeah, man, you too."

"Are you two okay?" Matt asked as we walked through the front door. "Yes, Matt, we're fine. Just talking with Jason for a minute." I answered. Jimmy and I put the drinks and snacks on kitchen table. All the guys fought to get them.
