Chapter 16. Recovery

Bryan's POV

I was on my way home and it was only 11:30pm, I wasn't tired but of course my parents are still the overly protective parents that they have always been. When I got home I went straight up to my room. I took a shower and set my alarm to 5:45am, I wanted to go to the gym or do something since I couldn't sleep, I went over some old pictures of Megs, Jojo, and me. I call Melissa Jojo because everyone calls her Mel, Meli, or Tj, but that's usually her step brother or Kyle, plus, no one called her by her first name... Jordyn Finally i went to sleep.

Megan's POV

I woke up at 1:05 in the morning. I woke up to the sound of someone coming into the room but they were actually leaving. When I opened my eyes I noticed that I had something on my forehead. Bryan...

I laughed and started to read it.

"Hey Megs, just wanted to tell you that Melissa is getting better and she said that your amazing and that she loves you. Love you get better soon or else I might die of boredom."

I smiled at what the note said but as soon as I took it all in, I pressed the nurses button

Nicole: Hey Megan, what can I help you in?

Me: Can I go see Melissa?

Nicole: Not right now sweetie she is sleeping and you aren't in a good condition right now

I frowned when she said no but I also got worried

Me: What's wrong with me?

Nicole: Your back, since u would never take a little walk or stretch when you were with Melissa, your back started to go crooked, and when you fell, you landed wrong and now ur back is completely paralyzed.

I couldn't say anything but when I tried to sit up, I a sort of shock wave hit my whole back all the way to the back of my neck. I fell back in pain, I couldn't move.
