Liam's pov

{before he called niall}

As soon as I got home from school I flopped down on my bed and started at the wall. no one was home and I really didn't want to be alone after my little episode this morning. so I texted the first person that came to mind, Niall.

He said he would be over in a bit. I kinda feel bad that I ignored him today, I didn't talk to him much. I herd a knock at the door and got up. I walked over to the door and opened it slightly, seeing the blond boy standing there.

I quickly opened the door and pulled him into a tight hug, my arms throbbing and pleading for me to loosen up, but all I needed was somebody right now, and my pain is not gonna ruin it.

Niall dropped his bags at his feet and hugged me back just as tight. he is probably confused, but in the years that I've known this kid, I know that he will never turn down a hug.

As we hugged, Niall played with my hair a bit, twirling it around his fingers. I don't know why he dose that, but it's adorable so Imma just go with it. After about 3 minutes Niall pulled away and had an adorable little smirk on his face.

My arm was still slightly around his waste and we just stared at each other, his smirk still visible on his lips

"Hi" I said quietly

He smiled sweetly and picked up his bags off the floor, forcing me to let go of him.

I moved to the side and let him into the flat. he stepped inside and slipped off his shoes, throwing his backpack on the floor next to mine. He threw his other bag on a chair at the table.

"How are you?" I asked

'Fine, and you?'

"I'm good"

He smiled, I took his hand and dragged him up to my room. I jumped on my bed and he soon followed after, making himself comfortable.

'So what's the reason that I'm here?' Niall asked

"I was just lonely, and who better to have then you come over?"

'I know, I'm pretty amazing'

"That you are" I punched his arm lightly and he silently chuckled

And then I asked the question that's been haunting me...

"Niall, how did you know you were gay?"
