Tygra was a sweet a little newborn. But he didn't stay a small newborn for long.

He started grow and grow.  By the time he was a week old he opened his eyes and they were a deep brown like his mother's.

As soon as Tygra learned how to crawl he follow his father. Javan would pick him up and hold him close. "You are my strong little chief." Javan said.

Tygra cooed and touched his father's face.

He continued to grow. Now Tygra was about take his first steps.

"Come on Tygra, come to daddy," Javan said.

Tygra began to walk towards his father. He almost fell over but managed to walk over to him. "My son can walk!" Javan said.

Soon the little tiger was toddling around the house.

Caspin came in. "Look how much he has grown," Caspin said.

"What is it Caspin?" Javan asked.

"The monster has attacked some tigers who were forging, they are alright we gave them antidote for the poison the attacks are becoming more, and more often." Caspin said.

"That is not good I'm afraid soon we will have to move I can't put our people and my family at risk." Javan said. He was concerned for his young son's safety.

"Yes, I understand because Tygra holds the future of our village and has great destiny as the legendary tiger." Caspin said.

Tygra came toddling over and held on too his father's leg and began babbling. He wanted his father to pay attention to him.

"What is he saying?" Caspin asked.

"It's just baby talk." Javan said picking Tygra up.

"Dada," Tygra said looking at Javan.

Javan smiled and kissed his son. "Your first word." Javan said.

"That's cute and all but we must discuss what we must do," Caspin said.

"Understood," Javan said.

Tygra continued to grow and grow. Soon he was a happy and healthy two year old. He had an adventurous spirit.

"Look at him he's growing up so fast." Sirbriena said.

"Yes and it's becoming impossible keeping up with him." Javan said.

Tygra came up to his parents and hugged them. "Our strong little Chief." Javan told him giving him hug.

Tygra had a happy life but one day that happy life would come to an end.

Tygra was playing with other cubs while the other tigers were gathering sweet frost berries a kind of edible berry that grew in the mountains. The tigers often made them into sweets.

The monster came up. "The Fangstire!" the tigers said.

It attacked the tigers. "Run Tygra!" Javan said.

Tygra began to run and the monster gave chase. "Keep Running Tygra and don't look back!" Sirbriena said.

Javan attacked the creature and he got flung and badly injured his shoulder.  "Tygra run faster! Keep running!" Javan said getting up.

Tygra was doing as he was told he ran into the forest and kept running with monster on his tail and Tygra slipped and fell into the raging river and his cloak came off on a tree branch.

Tygra was swept away by the river. "Help!" Tygra cried.

Later the other tigers began to look for the cub.

Caspin found the cloak on a tree near the river. "Javan!" Caspin called. He grabbed the cloak.

Javan came up. "It's Tygra's," Javan said. "He must close." he said.

"Javan the cloak may have come off and is far away from the rest of them, he most likely fell into the river and I think he probably drowned." Caspin said.

Javan was upset. "He's my son I was suppose to protect him. I failed, my son is now gone." Javan said.

Javan and Caspin told the other tigers the bad news. Sirbriena was upset she just lost her baby.

"If he's still out their I hope he comes home." Javan said.

"Yes Javan if he survived all of us hope he will come home." Caspin said.

So later Javan began to track the river for his son but couldn't find him.

Tygra was swept by the river all the way to the palace garden in Thundera. He was cold, wet and exhausted when he climbed out of the river and collapsed.
