Celia's parents decided to move their daughter into a Non-Suicidal Self-Injury (NSSI) Recuperation Facility after she could no longer touch a knife without slicing herself. When she recovered, scars covered the majority of her thighs and a few were visible on her neck.
Sawyer has taken to a physical therapy center and Rory became my roommate. I never visited them. I was too afraid. I should've been hit by Celia's car. I should've been in physical therapy. If I hadn't yelled at Sawyer, if I wasn't too weak, Celia and Sawyer would be okay.
My cabinets of bottles of hard vodka emptied faster. Rory couldn't stop me.
She had been the best off out of all of us. She continued saving lived as a doctor, and began fulfilling her promise to the late Nova. See, Nova's brother had Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after his time in the military, and began overdosing on his drugs.
When Rory finally found him, she began helping him. She kept him around at the hospital, taught him to play the piano, and took away his drugs. The withdraw symptoms hit both of them hard, especially since Rory had fallen in love with him.
A week after their engagement, on the anniversary of Nova's death, he overdosed on the drugs his fiance thought she saved him from.
Rory came back to our apartment a mess, and, for the first time, joined me for a drink.
