1 September

Today is the day. I had my suitcase all packed up with all the correct books and equipment. I have my wand which is a ten and three quarter inch, Holly wood with a Phoenix feather core having a slightly springy flexibility. Also I got a black cat. His name is Loki and he has the most adorable red eyes with large fluffy fur. I smiled and Loki climbed onto my shoulders purring into my neck. With the help of Mr Witney I got my luggage downstairs and met everyone else who was in the orphanage ready to wave me goodbye. I smiled as everyone gave me a small hug. Though I felt that some people were glad to see me leave.

"Come along Now Reginald we have a train to catch." I smiled and Mr Witney led me out of the large house on into his small Car.

Time skip

We were here at kings cross station, all I needed to do was get to platform Nine and three quarters and I would be going to Hogwarts. Mr Witney led me along. In the car park I saw a strange boy with Messy black hair and broken glasses being led by a very fat man. The boy met my eyes and I waved at him. He smiled and waved back but was then led away briskly by the large man with two other people a tall women and a fat boy. Mr Witney and I continued our way to platforms Nine and ten.

"Alright Reginald what you need to do if run between the nine and ten signs into that wall you should find yourself then onto the platform." I nodded. Mr Witney handed me a bottle. "This is a magically enchanted bottle to be bigger on the inside, It contains enough wolfbane to last you the year." He nodded and suddenly he looked very seriously at me. "If you lose it go straight to the potions master and make another batch because we don't want any accidents." I frowned but nodded.

"Don't worry I won't lose it." Mr Witney smiled.

"Good, good. You won't anyway because I enchanted it to return to your pocket after half an hour of it being lost. Now here is one gallon and ten Sickles for the journey. It should be more than enough for one person." I smiled as he handed me the money. I turned to leave but he grabbed my arm. "Reginald one more thing. Try not to scare people and don't let your secret out too early please because I want you to make some friends." I smiled, glad that Mr Witney cared. I gave him one last hug goodbye and with my suitcase on a trolley and Loki on my shoulder I ran into the wall and onto platform nine and three quarters.

I was speechless. In front of me was a beautiful scarlet steam engine was the words Hogwarts express written on it. I handed the man at the ticket box his ticket and then lifted my things onto the train into an empty compartment. I smiled and gave a little laugh. I had done it. I went into my trunk and pulled out my copy of Hogwarts a history, then I started to read it enjoying the loud chug of the train and the soft purring of Loki.

"Excuse me have you seen Neville's toad?" I looked up. The train had been travelling for a couple of hours and I had spent that time alone reading. The girl who asked the question had a bossy sort of voice , lots of bushy brown hair and rather large front teeth. She was already wearing her Hogwarts robes. I sensed that she was excited to be here and was currently worrying about the toad who belonged to Neville. She had a look of surprise when she saw me but I can't blame her I guess I look kind of scary with skinny arms and legs with dark black skin and a skinny face. I wasn't that I ate to little it's just that because of my dad my bones tend to show a lot causing me to be naturally skinny. But I like it. It makes people think twice before crossing me.

I put my book down and put Loki onto my lap.

"No can't say I have." She nodded and then sat down across from the compartment. Putting her hand out.

"I'm Hermione Granger by the way what's your name."  I shook her hand and smiled as my natural cold aura made her shiver.

"Reginald Kipp and this is Loki." She smiled and then noticed my book.

"Are you reading that all then. Because I found that book really interesting." I gave a nod. "How good are you at magic?" I smiled

"I know quite a bit of spells." She was fancinated. This told me that she was a muggle born because people raised in Magic families are never this excited about magic.

"Are there any you could show me now." I though and then pulled out my wand and pointed it at my book.

"This is a bit advanced and I've never actually done it but I know all about the theory of it." I gave a swish and flick saying. "Wingardiam Leviosa." The book then started to gently lift into the air. I smiled at Hermoines stunned look.

"That's a very advanced spell for first years who haven't even started."

"Thanks." She then frowned

"Well I best look for Neville's toad again. Goodbye Reginald." I smiled to her as she left and then went back to my reading.

"Who are you then?" I looked up to find were the rude voice Came from. It belonged to a girl  with a pale, pointed face, her  hair was long bright blond and she was in front of two other boys.

"Reginald. Who are you?" The girl smiled.

"Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." I shook her hand and she sat down in front of me. "So, are you pure blood then?" I shook my head.

"Half." She gave me a sneer.

"Well then I don't like to mingle with your kind. Goodbye." And then she left leaving me alone once more. I went back to my reading but I decieded to start Magical Drafts and Potions

It was dark out side but that didn't bother me. I like the dark. Probably something to do with me being half dementor. A extreamly tall man filled with excitement was walking around holding a big lamp shouting

"Firs'-years! Firs'-years over here." I got off the train and followed the man. He led us down a steep and narrow path to were a ton of boats were perched on a big black lake. "No more'n four to a boat." All the first years scrambled on and I got on to find that I was sharing a boat with Hermione and the boy Neville who lots his toad. "Everyone in?" Shouted Hagrid who had a boat to himself. "Right then - FORWARD!" And the fleet of little boats moved off all at once, gliding across the lake, which was a smooth as glass. After a bit of traveling we came to a cave in the cliff. "Heads down." We all bent our heads and we passed a curtain of ivy which hid a wide opening in the cliff face. We were carried along a dark tunnel, which seemed to be taking us right underneath the castle, until we reached a kind of underground harbour, where we clambered out onto rocks and pebbles.

"Oy, you there! Is this you toad." The large man held up a small toad and Neville smiled

"Trevor." The man smiled and we all then were led up a flight of stone steps to a huge oak door. He knocked on the door three times with his gigantic fist causing it to swing open at once.
