Chapter Three

"Defin....tie...up..."

Huh? What's that?

"Some...liv...here?"

Are those voices?

"Fully...dangerous..."

Human voices?

"What...it's...girl..."

Human voices! Kira bolted up, all traces of drowsiness gone. 

"We should see who's in there."

Crap! Thought Kira. She started to breath heavily. It's Richard Williams, he sent henchmen, he's going to breed me, I won't be free, I'll never see the mainland, I'll...

"Right! Let's go in."

Kira could hear footsteps coming closer and closer. I need a weapon, a distraction, a...a...

The people outside knocked on the door of the shed. It made an echoey sound, and blasted into Kira's ears.

"Hello? Is anyone there?"

Kira's senses went hyper alert. The hairs on the back of her neck stood up. She stayed perfectly still, hoping Richard's henchmen would go away.

"Look's like nobody's home."

"Yeah. Should we go back?"

"No, let's go in."

Time seemed to slow down as the henchmen opened the door to the shed and stepped inside. There were three. One was a bit taller than the others, and appeared to be the leader. He was the one who stepped into the shed first. The other two were about the same height, and walked in holding hands. As expected, they were all male. It was dim, so Kira couldn't see their faces that clearly, but they could definetly see hers.

"There is someone living here!" Said the leader of the group. "He's kinda pretty."

"Holy crap, there is!?" Hand-holder A visibly tightened his grip. "Is he dangerous?"

"Pfft. Idiot." Hand-holder B flicked A in the forehead. "Do you think he would be? He doesn't have any weapons, and he seems to be very feminine."

Kira was in shock. She could barely find the right words to speak. "Who...What...How...you...who are you?"

The leader smirked. "I'm Levi Mills, but please call me Lev."

"I'm Aaron Griffiths." Hand-holder B smiled.

"And I'm, uh, Lei Branch." Stammered hand-holder A.

Kira, still wary, took a step back. "Wh-why are you here?"

Levi's smirk grew even bigger. "We were getting water from a pond and saw a path marked in pink tape."

Kira's heart started to pound. They saw my path! Does that mean Richard is going to find it too? Or are they working for Richard?

"Would you mind telling us your name?" Asked Aaron.

"I'm Kira. Just Kira."

"Well then, Kira, what's a fragile person like you doing out it the woods?" Lev took a step towards her. "You don't seem like the kind of person who'd survive."

Kira was at a loss for words. "I, uh, well...sorry!"

She tried to make a break for it. Lev was scaring her, and it was to risky to stay. What if they found out she was a girl? They'd definetly use her to have children or something. Or they might sell her to Richard Williams!
