All of a sudden, Cloudy's signature final song started to play: "Thnks fr th mmrs" by Fall Out Boy. Taehyung did not seem to understand what was going on, evident by his big smile, but Gio did and she panicked. That meant that they had been dancing all night, and it was around three in the morning. She darted out of the dancefloor without explaining, so Taehyung followed her, wondering if he had done something wrong.
"It's, it's so late," she told him once they were out of the massive crowd of bodies bobbing lazily to the song.
"I can drop you off at your house, if you're scared of driving at this hour," he offered.
"It's not that," she said, but didn't continue to explain any further because she felt childish- what would Taehyung think about the girl who just kissed him at a club after barely knowing each other for hours having a bed time?
"I don't see Namjoon and your friend," Taehyung said, worried.
"He probably had to drive her home, she complains a lot," Gio explained.
"That's- I mean, I would believe that but Namjoon can't drive."
"Neither can Cami," Gio said, feeling a wave of panic slowly creeping up her spine and spreading through every single nerve in her body.
"Seems like those two were a match made in heaven," Taehyung said, sarcastically.
"Yeah, a perfect match," Gio repeated, but in her case, she wasn't exactly thinking of Namjoon and Cami- God, those two probably hated each other and anything nice in the world.
Taehyung caught her vibe and smiled, saying "I had fun tonight."
"Yeah, me too," she replied, a little embarrassed. The alcohol was wearing off and she was starting to remember things- had she been actually as bold as to kiss him?! That kiss was so unlike her, but it somehow did not feel wrong.
"Do you know of any good places to eat? Not that your workplace wasn't great, but, ahem, somewhere nicer maybe? Don't worry about the cost, I'll pay," Taehyung said.
"I-I can't hear you," Gio lied, pointing at the loud speakers several meters behind them. She was nervous, she had never had this kind of situation with a guy before. Unfortunately for her, the music went silent shortly after.
"I meant, do you want to go on a date with me later this week?"
