NEW FRIENDS

JEONGGUK wasn't sure on how it had happened, or what he had done to make it work- but there he was, sitting in the cafeteria, eating lunch with his four new friends that he had made in the short amount of classes they had had in the morning.

His little friend group consisted out of two girls and three boys. The two girls were Lizzie and Holly, two foreigners who had traveled to South-Korea together to study Film. They had been friends for a long time and were both from Scotland but their Korean wasn't too shabby.

Apparently they had been studying it on themselves for years, giving each other tests and homework as if they were each other's teachers. It was quite cute and if Jeongguk had to be honest, he was kind of shipping them together already.

The two other boys, one of them seated right beside Jeongguk and the other on the opposite side, were called Daesung and Chanhyuk. The first one had dark blue hair, almost as if the evening sky had fallen onto his hair and colored his locks.

His eyes always stood mischievous, just as the everlasting grin playing on his lips. He was a sweet guy nonetheless, ignoring the large tattoo peeping out from under his shirt as it reached his neck.

Chanhyuk was definitely ranked underneath the label shy boys. He had dark brown hair that was already fading back to its original black color. He had small eyes and a nose like a button, making him resemble a cute hamster. It also seemed as if the blush on his cheeks never went away and he was a little chubbier than the rest of them.

Jeongguk thought that the chubby red cheeks and larger body were the two things that made Chanhyuk stand out as a friendly guy. That's also why he had been the one Jeongguk dared to talk to first.

But the raven haired boy's attention was quickly diverted, his gaze sliding from his new friends to a gay idiot running over to them from another table, yelling out his name.

"Oh god", he mumbled, noticing his friends' eyebrows furrow as they noticed the weird guy nearing them with a skip in his running. They turned to Jeongguk whose name was being called by said weird guy.

"Jeongguk", Taehyung panted, resting his hands on his bent knees, "I finally found you!"

The said boy frowned, "Well here I am", confused he shot an apologetic look to his new friends.

"First things first, gimme your number", the blonde breathed, slamming his own phone down onto the table before making a give me gesture with his hand.

"Why?", Jeongguk asked, nevertheless taking out his phone and handing it to the older.

"Because we're roommates and we should have each other's numbers in case something happens", Taehyung stated as he typed in his own number into the younger's phone, adding a cute nickname with smiley and heart. "And also, I've been meaning to tell you something ever since you left breakfast but I couldn't text you".

"What is it you want to tell me?", Jeongguk asked, receiving his phone back and sliding it back into his pocket. He realized the others had gone back to talking, probably after finding out when it was just Jeongguk's roommate, they had lost interest.

"I got a date", Taehyung beamed, clapping his hands in delight, "And he'll be taking me out for dinner. But I had planned on eating together with you, to you know... get to know my roomie better. So I had made lasagna and it's in the freezer but I won't be home this evening so I wanted to tell you I made food for you to eat. I don't want the lasagna to go to waste you know?"

「Each level of dorms have a small kitchen where they can cook food or store it if they don't want to eat in the cafeteria」

"Wait wait wait", Jeongguk blinked, holding his hands up, "You have a date already? It's only the first day! And you made lasagna?"

"Yeah", Taehyung blinked back and head tilted sideways before a grin appeared on his lips, "I just worked my charm and got this really handsome dude to ask me out. He honestly looks like a jock but I don't care cause he's buff as fuck".

Jeongguk smiled, "Good for you. But I'd feel bad for eating your food without you".

"You're eating that lasagna Jeongguk, whether you want it or not", Taehyung spoke with narrowed eyes and an accusing finger pointed at the younger, "I'll spank you if it's not eaten by tomorrow".

"Keep your kinky self for your jock", the ravenhead muttered, ducking for an incoming slap aimed at his head, "Go eat some ass or whatever you gay guys eat during lunch".

This time he had no time to react before he glared at a hysterically laughing Taehyung skipping back to his confused looking friends, leaving Jeongguk to rub the back of his head while his friends looked on the verge of laughter/shock.

jeongguk friends are totally random names & descriptions so they don't rlly exist. also i'm leaving for croatia tomorrow with my parents for one week. so that means i'll be either updating a lot or either not. we'll see what croatia will bring.

also shout out to that one person reading this book, not shipping this couple and just reading this bc you found it while searching for a harry potter book. hope you at least know some kpop or how tae and kook look like. thanks for sticking around (even tho this has nothing to do with hp)
